- During Tuesday's media availability, defensive coordinator Gus Bradley said Nick Cross would start alongside Julian Blackmon against the Texans. Cross has started in four games during his first two seasons with the Colts.
- Womack spent the first two seasons of his NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers before the Colts claimed him off waivers. Aug. 28. Womack compiled 18 tackles and eight special teams stops across 23 games played with the 49ers.
