Indianapolis – The Indianapolis Colts today signed cornerback Chris Lammons to the 53-man roster from the practice squad and placed cornerback JuJu Brents on the Injured Reserve list.
Lammons, 5-10, 190 pounds, was originally signed by Indianapolis as a free agent on July 27, 2023. He has played in 47 career games (one start) in his time with the Colts (2023-24), Kansas City Chiefs (2019-22), Miami Dolphins (2018-19), New Orleans Saints (2018) and Atlanta Falcons (2018). Lammons has compiled 22 tackles (11 solo), four passes defensed, one interception, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and 10 special teams stops. He has also appeared in three postseason contests and has registered two special teams tackles. In 2024, Lammons saw action in Week 1 vs. Houston.
Brents, 6-3, 198 pounds, has played in 10 games (nine starts) in two seasons (2023-24) with the Colts and has totaled 49 tackles (33 solo), six passes defensed, one interception, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one special teams stop. He was selected by the team in the second round (44th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Kansas State. In 2024, Brents started Week 1 vs. Houston and recorded seven tackles (three solo).
