Colts sign S Cam Bynum

The Colts officially signed Bynum on Monday.

The Indianapolis Colts today signed unrestricted free agent safety Camryn Bynum.

Bynum, 6-0, 200 pounds, played in 65 career games (54 starts) over the last four seasons (2021-24) with the Minnesota Vikings and compiled 337 tackles (213 solo), 5.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, 28 passes defensed, eight interceptions, three forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and five special teams stops. He also appeared in two postseason contests (one start) and tallied 10 tackles (six solo). Bynum was originally selected by the Vikings in the fourth round (125th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft out of California.

In 2024, Bynum started all 17 games and totaled 96 tackles (54 solo), 2.0 tackles for loss, 10 passes defensed, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries. He saw action in one postseason contest and recorded three tackles (one solo). Among NFL safeties, Bynum tied for seventh in passes defensed.
