The Colts on Thursday released kicker Matt Gay.

Gay, who signed as a free agent before the 2023 season, made 64 of 78 field goals (82.1 percent) and 68 of 69 PATs (98.6 percent) over 33 games with the Colts.

The 31-year-old Gay previously spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2019) and Los Angeles Rams (2020-2022) before joining the Colts. He spent time on the Colts' practice squad in 2020 as well.

The Colts now have one kicker on their roster in Spencer Shrader, a 2024 undrafted free agent who spent time last year with the Colts, New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs.
