Colts place S Trevor Denbow on IR, sign S Ronnie Harrison Jr.; make additional practice squad moves

Indianapolis – The Indianapolis Colts today signed safety Ronnie Harrison Jr. to the 53-man roster from the practice squad and placed safety Trevor Denbow on the Injured Reserve list. The team also signed tackle Sebastian Gutierrez and guard Josh Sills to the practice squad and released tackle Jack Wilson from the practice squad.

Harrison Jr., 6-3, 214 pounds, was elevated from the practice squad in Week 2 at Green Bay. He was signed to the team's practice squad on September 11, 2024. Harrison Jr. participated in the Colts' 2024 offseason program and training camp. He was originally signed by Indianapolis as a free agent on August 14, 2023. Harrison Jr. has played in 75 career games (48 starts) in his time with the Colts (2023-24), Cleveland Browns (2020-22) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2018-19). He has compiled 238 tackles (156 solo), 10.0 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, 25 passes defensed, seven interceptions (two returned for touchdowns), two fumble recoveries and five special teams stops. Harrison Jr. has also appeared in two postseason contests (one start) and has tallied seven tackles (five solo) and 1.0 tackle for loss.

Denbow, 5-10, 208 pounds, has played in 27 career games in three seasons (2022-24) with the Colts and has registered 13 special teams tackles. He has appeared in all eight games this season and has tallied one special teams stop. In 2023, Denbow played in all 17 games and finished with 12 special teams tackles. As a rookie in 2022, he spent time on the team's active roster and practice squad. Denbow saw action in two games. He was originally signed by Indianapolis as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022, out of SMU.

Gutierrez, 6-6, 310 pounds, has spent time on the practice squads of the Browns (2024), San Francisco 49ers (2023-24), Las Vegas Raiders (2022-23) and New England Patriots (2022). He also spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs (2023) and Denver Broncos (2022). Gutierrez saw action in one game with the Raiders in 2022. He was originally signed by the Broncos as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022, out of Minot State.

Sills, 6-6, 325 pounds, participated in the team's 2024 offseason program and training camp. He was waived-injured by the Colts on August 19 and reverted to the Injured Reserve list the next day. Sills was waived from the Injured Reserve list with an injury settlement on August 23. He was originally claimed by Indianapolis off waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles on August 30, 2023. Sills has played in 18 career games. In 2023, he saw action in all 17 games for the Colts. As a rookie in 2022, Sills saw action in one game with the Eagles after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2022, out of Oklahoma State.

Wilson, 6-11, 310 pounds, was signed to the team's practice squad on October 9. He played basketball at Minnesota in 2023-24 and appeared in seven games. Wilson saw action in 25 games at Washington State (2020-22) along the offensive line and on special teams. In 2022-23, he was also a member of the Cougars' basketball team and played in 14 games. Prior to Washington State, Wilson played basketball at Idaho (2019-20) and Oregon State (2018-19). At Idaho, he appeared in 18 games and averaged 4.2 points per game and 3.2 rebounds per game. At Oregon State, Wilson saw action in seven games.
