Colts remove DT Raekwon Davis from Active/Non-Football Illness list, sign C Mike Panasiuk, LB Mike Smith Jr.; place C Ryan Coll on injured reserve, waive-injured G Josh Sills

The Colts made the roster moves on Monday.

Indianapolis – The Indianapolis Colts today signed free agent center Mike Panasiuk and undrafted free agent linebacker Mike Smith Jr. The team removed defensive tackle Raekwon Davis from the Active/Non-Football Illness list. The Colts also placed center Ryan Coll on the Injured Reserve list and waived-injured guard Josh Sills. If Sills clears waivers, he will revert to the Colts Injured Reserve list.

Panasiuk, 6-3, 294 pounds, played in 10 games with the St. Louis Battlehawks in 2024 and earned All-UFL honors. He previously spent time with the Carolina Panthers (2020-21) and Las Vegas Raiders (2020). Collegiately, Panasiuk played in 51 career games (41 starts) as a defensive lineman at Michigan State (2016-19) and compiled 100 tackles (40 solo), 18.0 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, six passes defensed, two interceptions, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. His last name is pronounced PAN-uh-sook.

Smith Jr., 6-1, 231 pounds, saw action in five games at Baylor in 2023 and finished with 25 tackles (18 solo), 3.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack and one pass defensed. He started all 12 games at Liberty in 2022 and led the team with 85 tackles (45 solo). Smith Jr. also added 10.0 tackles for loss, half a sack, five passes defensed, one interception and three forced fumbles. Prior to Liberty, he spent three seasons at Mississippi Gulf Coast (2019-21), where he was named First Team All-MACCC South. Smith Jr. compiled 248 tackles, 19.0 tackles for loss, 7.0 sacks, two interceptions, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

Davis, 6-7, 325 pounds, was signed by the Colts as an unrestricted free agent on March 15, 2024. He played in 63 career games (48 starts) in four seasons (2020-23) with the Miami Dolphins and totaled 129 tackles (60 solo), 6.0 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. Davis appeared in two postseason contests (one start) and tallied three tackles (one solo). He was originally selected by the Dolphins in the second round (56th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Alabama.

Coll, 6-5, 324 pounds, was signed by the Colts as a free agent on August 7, 2024. He participated in the Atlanta Falcons' 2024 offseason program after originally signing with the team as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2024. Collegiately, Coll played in 46 career games (39 starts) at Richmond (2019-23). He earned Division I FCS All-ECAC honors in 2023 and was a First Team All-CAA choice two times (2022-23). Coll began his career at tight end before switching to the offensive line.

Sills, 6-6, 325 pounds, was claimed by Indianapolis off waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles on August 30, 2023. He has played in 18 career games. In 2023, Sills saw action in all 17 games for the Colts. As a rookie in 2022, he saw action in one game with Philadelphia after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2022.
