INDIANAPOLIS —The Indianapolis Colts today waived tight end Billy Brown and wide receiver Steve Ishmael.
Brown, 6-4, 248 pounds, was waived-injured by the Colts on August 3, 2019. After clearing waivers, he reverted to the team's Injured Reserve list. In 2018, Brown spent time on the practice squads of Indianapolis and Philadelphia. He spent the entire 2017 regular season and postseason on the Eagles' practice squad. Brown originally signed with Philadelphia as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2017.
Ishmael, 6-2, 212 pounds, was placed on the Colts' Injured Reserve list on August 7, 2019. As a rookie in 2018, he spent time on Indianapolis' active roster and practice squad but did not see game action. Ishmael originally signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent on May 1, 2018.
