Appeared in four games (three starts) and recorded 23 tackles (14 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, 1.0 sack, four passes defensed, a team-high one interception and one forced fumble.

In a win against Penn State, he had a team-high eight tackles (four solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, 1.0 sack, two passes defensed, one interception and his first career forced fumble.
2019:
Saw action in 12 games (five starts) and accumulated 45 tackles (30 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, seven passes defensed and two interceptions.
Registered team highs in passes defensed (seven) and interceptions (two).
Against No. 1 Ohio State, he recorded a then single-game career-high nine tackles (six solo).
