Appeared in 29 games (21 starts) at Maryland (2019-21) and compiled 135 tackles (89 solo), 5.5 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, 18 passes defensed, six interceptions and three forced fumbles.
Three-time All-Big Ten honorable mention selection (2019-21).
Led the team in interceptions (three) and forced fumbles (two) in 2021.
In 2020, he had a team-high one interception.
Led Maryland in passes defensed (seven) and interceptions (two).

2021:

Started all 13 games and tallied 67 tackles (45 solo), 3.5 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, seven passes defensed, three interceptions and two forced fumbles.
Named an All-Big Ten honorable mention selection.
Led the team in interceptions (three) and forced fumbles (two).
In the New Era Pinstripe Bowl vs. Virginia, he forced a fumble that was returned for a touchdown by a teammate.
Against Minnesota, he led the team and tallied a single-game career-high 13 tackles (eight solo).

Appeared in four games (three starts) and recorded 23 tackles (14 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, 1.0 sack, four passes defensed, a team-high one interception and one forced fumble.

In a win against Penn State, he had a team-high eight tackles (four solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, 1.0 sack, two passes defensed, one interception and his first career forced fumble.

2019:

Saw action in 12 games (five starts) and accumulated 45 tackles (30 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, seven passes defensed and two interceptions.
Registered team highs in passes defensed (seven) and interceptions (two).
Against No. 1 Ohio State, he recorded a then single-game career-high nine tackles (six solo).

Attended DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Md.
Ranked the No. 4 safety in the 2019 recruiting class.
Rated a four-star recruit coming out of high school and the top ranked player in Maryland.
Named a First Team Washington Post All-Metro selection and a two-time First Team WCAC choice.
Received almost 40 scholarship offers coming out of high school.
As a senior, he tallied 94 tackles and four interceptions.
Was roommates at Maryland with Dino Tomlin, the son of Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin.
