COLLEGE
Spent two of his collegiate seasons at the University of Florida from 2011-12 before transferring to North Carolina State in 2013. After sitting out the 2013 season, he played two seasons at North Carolina State (2014-15) and completed 458-of-765 passes for 5,268 yards in 26 games, all of which he started.
In his 2015 senior season, threw for 2,662 yards and 20 touchdowns, which tied for the third most in the ACC, while completing 237-of-395 passes. Brissett also ran the ball 139 times for 370 yards and six touchdowns.
Started all 13 games he saw action in during his 2014 redshirt junior season and completed 221-of-370 passes for 2,606 yards and 23 touchdowns. He also ran the ball 124 times for 529 yards and three touchdowns.
Was one of three quarterbacks in college football to record 2,000 passing yards, 300 rushing yards, 20 passing touchdowns and less than five interceptions, with the other two being Marcus Mariota and Brett Hundley.
His 23 touchdowns in 2014 are the seventh-most in a season in school history.

During his freshman campaign at Florida in 2011, took his first collegiate snap as the starter at Florida, becoming the first true freshman in school history to do so. Completed 18-of-39 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns in two starts. He also rushed for two scores.
