The Colts on Sunday ruled out 7 players for their Week 2 game against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field:

  • S Julian Blackmon (shoulder)
  • WR Josh Downs (ankle)
  • QB Sam Ehlinger (emergency third quarterback)
  • G Tanor Bortolini
  • T Blake Freeland
  • TE Will Mallory
  • DE Genard Avery

Downs was listed as questionable on Friday's final practice report of Week 2. He did not play in Week 1 after sustaining an ankle injury during an Aug. 7 training camp practice.

Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (back) is active despite not participating in practice leading up to Sunday's game. Defensive end Kwity Paye (hamstring) is also active after he did not participate in practice Wednesday and Thursday and was limited on Friday.

On the other sideline, the Green Bay Packers officially ruled out quarterback Jordan Love (knee), meaning Malik Willis will start at quarterback after all.
