The Indianapolis Colts will travel to Nashville to face the Titans on ESPN's Monday Night Football in Week 6. The game time is set for 8:30 p.m. ET on Monday, Oct. 16, at Nissan Stadium.
The contest will mark the 45th all-time regular season meeting between the teams, with Indianapolis leading the series, 31-13. The Colts have won the last 11 matchups dating back to the 2011 season.
Last week, Indianapolis hosted the San Francisco 49ers and won 26-23 in overtime.
Kicker Adam Vinatieri converted a 52-yard field goal on the opening drive of the game to give the Colts an early lead.
The 49ers countered with a field goal on the ensuing possession to tie the game. Each team added a field goal in the second quarter to enter halftime tied, 6-6.
Indianapolis scored 10 unanswered points in the third quarter due to Vinatieri's third field goal of the game and a 22-yard rushing touchdown by running back Marlon Mack.
Early in the fourth quarter, San Francisco connected on a field goal to chip away at the deficit. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett scored on a three-yard run before the 49ers executed two touchdown drives to send the game into overtime.
Brissett led the Colts on a long opening drive in overtime but threw an interception deep in San Francisco territory. The Indianapolis defense forced the 49ers to punt on the ensuing possession. Brissett would redeem himself on the next series as he led the team into field goal range. Vinatieri converted a 51-yard game-winning field goal, which marked his NFL-record 10th career game-winning field goal in overtime. He also moved into second place all-time in league history in field goals made (539).
