HOT OFF THE PRESS

Triton Central ended defending Class 2A state champion Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter's 14-game winning streak with a 28-21 triumph.

Hammond Clark snapped its 27-game losing streak with a 28-21 victory over East Chicago Central. It was also the first win for Pioneers' coach Nick Testa.

Chris Meeks celebrated his 150th win with Rensselaer Central's 42-14 decision over Champaign Central (Ill.).

Franklin saw a 10-game losing streak come to an end with a 52-14 win over Mooresville.

Bloomington North ended a 10-game Conference Indiana losing streak with 34-24 win over Perry Meridian.

Despite suffering from a severe ankle injury, Dawson Dahnke still managed to score a five-yard touchdown to tie the school record with 284 career points for Harrison (West Lafayette) in a 41-0 blanking of Muncie Central.
