ON THE RUNAWAY(Top running back performances)

Cade Campbell accounted for more than 330 total yards in Mississinewa's 41-39 win over Western in Class 4A action. Campbell ran 19 times for 274 yards and caught three passes for 64 yards.

Markese Stepp exploded for 249 yards and four touchdowns on 29 carries for Indianapolis Cathedral in a 42-21 win over Decatur Central in Class 5A play.

Daylen Taylor ran 34 times for 243 yards and three touchdowns for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard in a 56-27 win over defending Class 2A state champion Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter in Class 3A action.

Colin Wagner helped North Newton to its first sectional crown since 1993 with 21 carries for 242 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-15 win over Boone Grove in Class 2A play.

Jack Kiser rambled 21 times for 217 yards and five touchdowns for top-ranked (Class 1A) Pioneer in a 48-20 win over Lafayette Central Catholic.

Tor-Jon Evans carried the ball 19 times for 206 yards and three scores in Evansville Central's 28-0 shutout of Evansville Bosse in Class 4A play.

Nick Willham ran 21 times for 206 yards and three touchdowns in Greenwood's 59-32 win over Mooresville in Class 4A action.

Sage Hood tallied 20 rushes for 202 yards and five scores for West Lafayette in a 56-10 win over Andrean in Class 3A play.

Tim Ellis racked up 23 carries for 194 yards and two touchdowns in Fountain Central's 43-0 blanking of Attica in Class 1A action.

Logan Macklin had 13 carries for 188 yards and one score for Adams Central in its 50-27 loss to Southwood in Class 1A play.

Hunter Privett scampered 23 times for 188 yards and two scores for Lawrenceburg in its 35-29 win over North Harrison in Class 3A action.

Sampson James ran 19 times for 186 yards and one score in Avon's 47-26 win over Brownsburg in Class 6A play.

Shawn Hapenny had 36 touches for 178 yards and two touchdowns and also returned an interception 48 yards for another tally in Terre Haute North's 34-10 victory over Terre Haute South in Class 5A play.

Johnny Adams rambled 13 times for 177 yards with a touchdown for Indianapolis Ben Davis in its 36-29 win over Warren Central in Class 6A action.

Alex Maxwell ran 22 times for 175 yards and three touchdowns in East Central's 24-0 blanking of Silver Creek in Class 4A action.

Michael Hemmingway recorded 20 carries for 169 yards and two scores for Mishawaka Marian in a 21-7 win over Jimtown in Class 3A action.

Ryan Whiteman had four rushes for 158 yards and two touchdowns for Penn in a 40-0 blanking of Warsaw in Class 6A play.

Jamon Hogan ran 18 times for 153 yards and a score for Columbus East in a 42-14 win over Floyd Central in Class 5A play.

Dominick DeBroka had 30 carries for 149 yards and two touchdowns in Concord's 28-12 win over Goshen in Class 5A play.

Jack Rhoades scampered 23 times for 149 yards and two touchdowns in Woodlan's 44-19 win over Central Noble in Class 2A action.

Kevin Smith ran 13 times for 141 yards and two scores for Providence in a 41-25 win over Paoli in Class 2A play.

Teely Rhyne had 24 carries for 137 yards and a score for Andrean.

Heisman Skeens came up with more than 130 total yards for Mississinewa. Skeens ran for 49 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for 82 yards and two scores.

Duane Cobb had 24 carries for 129 yards and one score as Indianapolis Arlington captured its firs sectional title since 1999 with a 46-6 win over South Putnam in Class 1A play.

Carson Steele ran 26 times for 125 yards with a touchdown in Center Grove's 20-14 win over Columbus North in Class 6A action.

Mavric Thiery carried the ball 28 times for 125 yards and three touchdowns in Bloomington South's 56-21 win over Martinsville in Class 5A play.

Kameron Muhammed ran 14 times for 120 yards and a touchdown as Michigan City earned its first sectional title with a 38-10 win over LaPorte in Class 5A action.

Brandon Rosado scampered 16 times for 112 yards and one score for Greenwood.

Chon'Dre Cissell had 13 carries for 111 yards and two touchdowns for Cathedral.

Chase Rhinelander ran for 107 yards and three touchdowns for Evansville Mater Dei in a 38-31 overtime loss to Southridge in Class 2A action.

Gabe Lloyd carried the ball 15 times for 104 yards and a touchdown for Southwood.

Kolby Watts ran 17 times for 99 yards and one score for LaVille in its 10-7 win over Triton in Class 1A play.

Chip Clark managed 93 yards on the ground and three scores for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger in a 41-20 win against Fort Wayne Wayne in Class 4A play.

Tyreeon Hambright had 18 carries for 89 yards and two touchdowns for Fort Wayne Bishop Luers in a 20-14 win over defending Class 3A state champion Fort Wayne Concordia.

Wyatt Snyder ran 16 times for 74 yards and two touchdowns as Monroe Central claimed its first Class 1A sectional crown with a 26-7 win at Sheridan.

Andrew Barajas had seven carries for 69 yards and two scores for Eastbrook in a 28-7 win over Lewis Cass in Class 2A action.

Tony Harrison crossed the goal line four times for Bishop Chatard.

PASSING THE TEST(Top quarterback performances)

Tyler Knepley accounted for more than 420 yards of offense for Western. Knepley threw for 86 yards and two touchdowns and ran 39 times for 337 yards and four scores.

Diomoni Small was 26-of-42 for 396 yards and four touchdowns for Cardinal Ritter.

Karson Goodman went 20-of-34 for 340 yards and four scores for Mooresville.

Nick Wilson recorded over 325 yards of offense for New Prairie in a 42-7 win over South Bend Saint Joseph in Class 4A play. Wilson threw for 79 yards and ran 21 times for 249 yards and three touchdowns.

Caleb Hamilton accumulated over 320 total yards for Eastern Greene in a 33-14 win over North Central (Farmersburg) in Class 1A action. Hamilton went 7-of-12 for 70 yards and one touchdowns and ran the ball 32 times for 256 yards and four scores.

Michael Lindauer went 29-of-39 for 314 yards and two touchdowns for Evansville Memorial in a 26-17 win over top-ranked (Class 3A) Gibson Southern.

Bryce Jefferson came up with more than 310 total yards for Decatur Central. Jefferson threw for 128 yards and one touchdown and ran for 168 yards and one score.

Nathaniel Butts was 14-of-19 for 307 yards with four touchdowns and ran for fifth score for Fountain Central.

Carlos Velasquez tossed for 300 yards and three touchdowns for Lafayette Central Catholic.

Seth Gallman accounted for almost 300 total yards for Greenwood. Gallman was 6-of-6 for 132 yards with a touchdown and ran 20 times for 166 yards and three scores.

Reese Taylor finished with over 290 total yards for Ben Davis. Taylor was 15-of-19 for 154 yards and a touchdown and rushed 21 times for 138 yards and a score.

Toby Hiland went 16-of-28 for 285 yards with four scores in Danville's 44-0 blanking of Greencastle. Hiland also ran for a touchdown and booted a 40-yard field goal.

Jake Johnson was 12-of-18 for 285 yards and three touchdowns for Bloomington South.

Carson Blair went 18-of-34 for 270 yards with four scores for Southwood.

Jaylen Flemmons came off the bench to throw for 259 yards and two touchdowns for Columbus North.

Mathew Wilkerson went 28-of-42 for 252 yards and two scores in Lafayette Jeff's 41-20 loss to defending Class 6A state champion Carmel.

Kyle Wade completed 11-of-13 passes for 241 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a fourth score in Kokomo's 37-7 win at McCutcheon in Class 5A action.

Jayce Harter came up with over 240 total yards for Southridge. Harter tossed for 99 yards and ran 20 times for 144 yards and one score.

Isaac Sellers finished with more than 240 yards of offense for Gibson Southern. Sellers passed for 155 yards and rushed for 93 yards and one score.

Michael Haupert was 15-of-19 for 236 yards and four touchdowns for Fort Wayne Snider in a 52-19 win over Carroll (Fort Wayne) in Class 6A play.

Cameron Misner went 13-of-20 for 236 yards with four scores and ran for another tally for Avon.

Michael McCullough accounted for more than 230 total yards for Michigan City. McCullough threw for 106 and a touchdown and ran 12 times for 120 yards with a score.

Ethan Igras nearly had 230 total yards for Lowell in a 42-7 win against Griffith in Class 4A action. Igras threw for 141 yards and one score and ran for 87 yards and a touchdown.

Luke Touloukian tallied over 225 yards of offense for West Lafayette. Touloukian was 7-of-10 for 118 yards and a touchdown and ran nine times for 108 yards and one score.

Andre Jones finished with more than 220 total yards for Indianapolis Lutheran in a 19-12 win over Hagerstown in Class 1A play. Jones passed for 92 yards with a score and rushed for 135 yards and two touchdowns.

Justin Durkes was 10-of-14 for 209 yards and four touchdowns for Woodlan.

Anthony Safford passed for 203 yards and one score for Park Tudor in a 46-7 loss to Western Boone.

Jayden George went 14-of-21 for 189 yards and three touchdowns for Warren Central.

Mark Nondorf completed 9-of-17 passes for 185 yards and one score for Bishop Chatard.

Jonathan Collier tallied over 185 total yards for Martinsville. Collier threw for 67 yards and a touchdown and ran for 120 yards and two scores.

Lavi Frazier was 11-of-16 for 181 yards and three touchdowns for Lapel in its 34-20 win over Shenandoah in Class 2A action.

Zach Neligh accounted for 180 yards of offense for top-ranked (Class 5A) New Palestine in a 26-24 loss to Zionsville. Neligh tossed for 116 yards and two scores and ran for 64 yards and one tally.

Jordan Garrett tossed for 175 yards and one score for Indianapolis Pike in a 28-7 loss to Fishers in Class 6A play.

Jake McDonald was 12-of-15 for 171 yards and three touchdowns for Carmel.

Austin Weimer racked up over 170 total yards for Lawrenceburg. Weimer threw for 43 yards and a touchdown and rushed 12 times for 129 yards and one score.

Cole Wiseman threw for 164 yards and two scores for Zionsville.

Spencer Wright had more than 160 yards of offense for Western Boone. Wright tossed for 110 yards and one touchdown and ran 57 yards and two scores.

Avery Blocker recorded over 160 total yards for North Harrison. Blocker tossed for 123 yards and two scores and ran for 38 yards and a touchdown.

Josh Major contributed more than 160 total yards for Columbus East. Major passed for 36 yards with a touchdown and rushed 12 times for 130 yards and three scores.

Antawan Canady threw for 159 yards and two scores for Arlington.

Peyton Sparks tossed for 158 yards and two touchdowns for Shenandoah.

Derrick Ozobu was 9-of-15 for 157 yards and three scores for Brebeuf Jesuit in a 48-14 win over Southmont.

Cade McCoin tossed for 155 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for three scores for Mississinewa.

Ryan Bolda threw for 154 yards and two touchdowns in Crown Point's 14-7 win at Portage in Class 6A action.

Parker bates tossed for 142 yards and two scores for Adams Central.

Matt Wolff went 9-of-17 for 126 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a third score for Fishers.

Mac Ayers completed 14-of-20 passes for 120 yards in Indianapolis Scecina's 14-0 win over Triton Central in Class 2A play.

CATCHING ON FAST(Top receiver performances)

Chris Bomba had seven receptions for 209 yards and three touchdowns for Bloomington South.

Jon Eineman caught seven passes for 184 yards and three scores for Mooresville.

David Nakasen hauled in nine passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns for Fort Wayne Snider.

Steven Edwards caught five passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns for Kokomo.

J.D. Harris had nine catches for 161 yards and two scores for Columbus North.

Alec Burton recorded 10 receptions for 160 yards and three touchdowns for Danville.

Jay Segal had 13 catches for 146 yards and two scores for Lafayette Jeff.

Greg Milledge caught two passes for 134 yards and one score for Portage.

Brandon Combs hauled in 10 passes for 130 yards for Evansville Memorial.

Matthew Nose caught 10 passes for 125 yards with two scores and also had 11 tackles for Southwood.

Andrew Sowinski had six catches for 118 yards and one touchdown for Bishop Chatard.

Atticus Clouse recorded seven receptions for 113 yards and a score for Carmel.

Ben Stevens had four catches for 112 yards and one touchdown for Danville.

David Bell caught seven passes for 105 yards and three touchdowns for Warren Central.

KeShawn Tunstill had seven receptions for 104 yards with a score for Ben Davis.

Tyrone Tracy recorded five catches for 102 yards and one touchdown for Decatur Central.

Ahlan Howard hauled in three receptions for 100 yards and two scores for Woodlan.

SHOW STOPPERS(Top performances on defense and special teams)

In addition to coming up with four tackles, Jordan Jusevitch also intercepted a pass, recovered a fumble, and returned a punt 38 yards for a touchdown for Lowell.

Along with running for two touchdowns, Luke Honer also blocked a potential game-winning field goal at the end of regulation in Angola's 31-30 overtime win over Culver Academy in Class 4A action.

Darrius Ford returned a punt 15 yards for a touchdown and added a 48-yard kickoff return for a score for Arlington.

Chris Freeman booted the game-winning 48-yard field goal with 7.1 seconds left, along with a 38-yarder for Zionsville.

In addition to rushing for 83 yards and a touchdown, Isreal Nash also came up with an interception and fumble recovery for Monroe Central.

Davion Samual had 31-yard interception return and 71-yard punt return for touchdowns for Arlington.

Caden Paquette booted three extra-points and returned an interception 37 yards for a score for Penn.

Caden Watson recorded two quarterback sacks and recovered a fumble for Crown Point

Along with catching a pair of touchdown passes, Peyton Trexler also returned a punt 57 yards for a score and also recovered a fumble for another tally for Southwood.

Kyric McFarrin returned a fumble 99 yards for a touchdown for Michigan City.

Luke Eckert had field goals of 41 and 24 yards for Center Grove.

Joe Hendryx had a 75-yard kickoff return for a score for Western Boone.

Jake Wallman connected on field goals of 42 and 28 yards as well as two extra-points for Mooresville.

Along with rushing for a touchdown, Kaden Williams also returned a kickoff 80 yards for a score for Providence.

Mason Hale racked up 20 tackles for Eastbrook.

Kaden Conklin had 10 tackles for Monroe Central.
