CLASS 5A HIGHLIGHTS

Josh Major and Jamon Hogan both went over the 100-yard rushing in Columbus East's 35-7 win over defending state runner-up New Palestine. Major had 23 carries for 131 yards and two scores and Hogan added 24 touches for 118 yards and two scores for the Olympians. Gunnar Large threw for 122 yards for the Dragons.

Vernon Daniels had seven touches for 153 yards and three touchdowns in Mishawaka's 42-13 win over Elkhart Memorial. Austin Faulkner added two scores, and Luke Shively added two interceptions for the Cavemen.

CLASS 4A HIGHLIGHTS

Evan Stambaugh accounted for almost 400 yards in offense for Lebanon in a 62-48 win over Beech Grove. Stambaugh was 11-of-18 for 299 yards and four touchdowns and ran 21 times for 93 yards and one score. Jaylen Washington added 29 carries for 271 yards and four touchdowns, while Ryan Poole chipped in three catches for 132 yards and three scores for the Tigers, who racked up 755 yards of offense.  Chase Andries went 17-of-25 for 252 yards and four touchdowns and carried the ball 16 times for 110 yards for Beech Grove, which finished with 743 total yards. Dylan Allen tallied six receptions for 148 yards and two touchdowns for the Hornets.

Josh Bradford scampered 31 times for 342 yards and four touchdowns for Mooresville in a 26-23 victory over Western. Tyler Knepley threw for 255 yards with one score and two rushing touchdowns for Western.

Andrew McCormick completed 21-of-31 passes for 336 yards and six touchdowns in East Noble's 45-0 blanking of DeKalb. Dylan Hunley added eight catches for 196 yards and three scores for the Knights.

Dennis Johnson was 15-of-33 for 333 yards and three touchdowns for Fort Wayne South in a 33-9 upset of Leo. A.J. King had four catches for 120 yards and one score, and Eldridge Wells added five receptions for 107 yards and two tallies for the Archers.

Blake Podschlne's 63-yard touchdown pass to Bradley Black helped defending state champion Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger to a 22-14 win over Marion. Podschlne accounted for 248 yards passing, 71 yards rushing, and three touchdowns, while Amaun Clark tallied 133 total yards for the Saints. Tyrell Phelps ran for 130 yards and a score for the Giants.

Michael Sosnowski ran 13 times for 283 yards and four scores for Greenfield-Central in a 41-21 win over Jay County. Cole Stigleman tallied 27 rushes for 183 yards and a touchdown for Jay County.

Logan Stone scampered 26 times for 247 yards and two scores for defending state runner-up East Central in a 41-27 win over Shelbyville. Alex Maxwell added 15 carries for 146 yards and two touchdowns for the Trojans. John Lux threw for 288 yards and two scores and ran for 70 yards and two touchdowns for Shelbyville. Damon Lux added eight receptions for 102 yards and one tally for the Golden Bears.

Brennon Harper completed 9-of-10 throws for 243 yards and four touchdowns for Evansville Central in a 41-13 win over Owen Valley. Tor'Jon Evans had nine carries for 125 yards and one score for the Bears.

Elizjah Harvey had 15 carries for 234 yards and two touchdowns in Evansville Harrison's 38-27 win over Jasper. David Felton added 23 touches for 177 yards and two scores for the Warriors. Reece Milligan ran for 157 yards and two scores for the Wildcats.

Cameron Cartwright ran 19 times for 222 yards and three touchdowns for Booneville in a 42-6 victory over Edgewood.

Johnathan Hagerty accounted for more than 200 yards of offense in Franklin Central's 42-7 win over South Decatur. Hagerty tossed for 140 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 81 yards and one score.

Andy Carstensen scampered eight times for 200 yards and four scores for Highland in a 57-6 win over Hammond Clark. Angel Mata added 108 yards rushing and two touchdowns for the Trojans.

Andrew Jumonville racked up 188 yards of offense with two touchdowns in Munster's 28-22 win over East Chicago Central.

NiShawn Jones rambled for 168 yards and four touchdowns for New Haven in a 49-7 win over Fort Wayne Wayne.

Eric Jones carried the ball 18 times for 162 yards and one score as Mount Vernon (Fortville) rolled to a 46-14 win over Richmond. Zach Montgomery tossed for 104 yards and two scores and ran 11 times for 115 yards and two tallies, while Nathan Seifert recorded 19 tackles for the Marauders.

Patrick McManama ran for 160 yards and two touchdowns in Indianapolis Roncalli's 35-14 win over Northview. Derek O'Connor went 10-of-16 for 133 yards and three scores for the Rebels.

Julius Graber threw for 157 yards and two scores in Northridge's 21-20 win over Wawasee.

Cade Campbell had 12 rushes for 152 yards and two touchdowns for Mississinewa in its 49-6 win over Logansport. Cade McCoin ran for two scores and had two interceptions, and Dustin Patton and Nick Barrett racked up 16 tackles apiece for the Indians.

Tristen McMillen ran for 152 yards and a touchdown, helping Plymouth to a 26-23 win at Angola. Colten Schuler added an 87-yard kickoff return for a score for the Rockies. Chance Roddy tossed for 241 yards and three scores, while Sean Miller had six receptions for 109 yards and one tally for the Hornets.

Alan Perry tallied 123 yards of offense with a touchdown pass and run for Seymour in a 24-6 win over Silver Creek.

Brock Ernstes was 11-of-15 for 118 yards and two touchdowns as Jennings County earned its first win of the season with a 17-7 decision over Madison.

Trevor Espravnik accounted for 93 yards rushing and three touchdowns in Lowell's 65-6 win over Gary West.

Sophomore Eric Johnson had 13 carries for 114 yards and the game-winning two-yard touchdown in overtime for Hammond Morton in its 18-12 win over Hammond Gavit. Tevin Armstrong added 198 total yards with a scoring throw and run for the Governors.

Ross Eckert found the end zone three times, including a one-yard run in overtime, helping Southridge to a 37-34 victory over Heritage Hills. Cade Jones threw for three scores and ran for another tally for Heritage Hills.

Charlie Spegal had 24 rushes for 127 yards and two scores for Delta in a 27-7 win over New Castle. Tanner Lambert added 101 yards through the air and two scores for the Eagles.

Da'Ziaun Sargent and Clayton Groves combined for five touchdowns in Evansville Reitz's 48-8 victory over Evansville Bosse. Sargent ran for 104 yards and two scores, and Groves added 62 yards and three tallies.

Isaiah Borjas and Brandon Rosado each surpassed the 100-yard rushing mark for Greenwood in a 42-12 win over Frankfort. Borjas tallied 170 yards and three touchdowns, while Rosado added 122 yards and one score for the Woodmen.

Nick Ray and Chris Tyler both surpassed the 100-yard rushing mark in Hobart's 33-14 win against South Bend Washington. Ray had 124 yards and one score, while Tyler chipped in 110 yards and one tally for the Brickies. Treond Winston racked up 100 yards on the ground and two touchdowns for the Panthers.

Donald Nannenga rambled for 128 yards and a touchdown for Kankakee Valley in a 49-8 win over South Bend Clay.

CLASS 3A HIGHLIGHTS

Jake Hill went 25-of-29 for 334 yards and one score in Tri-West's 35-3 win over Guerin Catholic. Peyton Hendershot chipped in 14 catches for 187 yards, while Derek Lucas ran for four scores for the Bruins.

Christian Schabel completed 15-of-30 passes for 322 yards and four touchdowns for Danville in a 53-12 win over Indianapolis Northwest. Ben Stevens chipped in seven catches for 190 yards and two scores for the Warriors.

Zander Horvath tallied 237 yards rushing to become Mishawaka Marian's single-season rushing leader in a 57-8 win over Wheeler. Horvath finished with 301 total yards and five touchdowns.

Peter Morrison completed 20-of-30 throws for 311 yards and three touchdowns in Fort Wayne Concordia's 54-14 win over Yorktown. Peterson Kerlegrand had 14 carries for 124 yards and three scores for the Cadets.

Seth Hobson went 11-of-16 for 273 yards and five touchdowns and ran for a sixth score for Salem in a 49-20 win over Corydon Central. Evan Brishaber added four receptions for 152 yards and four touchdowns for the Lions.

Austin Moody rambled for 231 yards and two touchdowns and returned an interception for another score in Washington's 48-18 win over Pike Central.

Devin Clair scampered 34 times for 218 yards and three touchdowns in Greencastle's 33-30 win over West Vigo.

Mikey Kidwell was 12-of-19 for 211 yards and three scores for West Lafayette in a 48-7 win over Tipton. Sage Hood added 18 rushes for 114 yards and a touchdown for the Red Devils. Chase London recorded 15 tackles for the Blue Devils.

Trey Powell tossed foe 207 yards and one score in Sullivan's 35-29 win over Princeton. Trevor Magill added three scores on the ground for the Golden Arrows.

Nick Wilson ran for 207 yards and two touchdowns and passed for a third score in New Prairie's 42-14 win over South Bend Riley. Garrett Ruiz added 19 carries for 140 yards and two scores to go along with a touchdown reception and 48-yard punt return for another tally for the Cougars.

Michael Lindauer threw for 205 yards and four touchdowns, two going to Matt Kiesel, in Evansville Memorial's 29-20 upset of top-ranked Gibson Southern. Kenyon Ervin ran for 156 yards, and Jack Folz recorded 17 tackles for the Pirates.

Jesse Hunter rambled 26 times for 203 yards and one score as Greensburg coasted to a 40-14 win over Batesville. Sam Slusher added three touchdown runs for the Tigers

Cameron Smith had 36 carries for 189 yards and five touchdowns for Garrett in a 42-16 win over Fairfield. Zac Lantz tossed a pair scoring passes to Cordell Hofer for Fairfield.

Caleb Hankenson ran for 187 yards and three touchdowns for Bellmont in a 39-20 win over Norwell.

Arion Nieves was 7-of-9 for 185 yards and one score in Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' 42-15 win over Northwestern. J'Lyn Charleton added six carries for 73 yards and three scores for the Knights. Evan Cardwell ran for 101 yards and two scores for the Tigers.

Austin Bowling had 17 touches for 177 yards and six touchdowns for Lawrenceburg in a 68-6 triumph over Indianapolis Manual. Reid Strobl was 8-of-11 for 190 yards and two scores, and Ben Murphy added four catches for 127 yards and one tally for the Tigers.

Spencer Wright completed 14-of-18 for 167 yards and four touchdowns for Western Boone in a 56-21 win over Benton Central. Koltin Tucker tossed for 269 yards and three scores, and Blake Morin hauled in eight receptions for 234 yards and three touchdowns for Benton Central.

Justin Peake had 39 carries for 145 yards and one score in North Harrison's 17-14 upset of Charlestown.

Dustin Lindley ran 14 times for 138 yards and four touchdowns in Hanover Central's 49-12 victory over Hammond. Bon Scott Young added 11 carries for 100 yards and one score for the Wildcats.

Chase Wroblewski tallied 135 total yards and two scores in West Noble's 30-28 win over Tippecanoe Valley. Desean Heckman had 23 carries for 145 yards and two scores for Tippy Valley.

Jaylen Gilbert went 6-of-9 for 133 yards and three scores for Rensselaer Central in a 38-7 win over Calumet. Luke Branson chipped in 13 tackles for the Bombers.

Jordan Rader and Gavin Gynsin both ran for more than 130 yards and two touchdowns in Peru's 40-21 win over Maconaquah. Rader tallied 137 yards, while Gynsin added 131 yards for the Bengal Tigers.

Gabe Coleman led a balanced attack with 34 touches for 123 yards and two touchdowns as defending state champion Indianapolis Bishop Chatard began defense of its title with a 28-7 victory over Brebeuf Jesuit.

Khadafi Coleman tallied 119 yards rushing and two scores for Griffith in a 48-7 win over John Glenn. Cameron Crowe added a 59-yard interception return and a 53-yard punt return for touchdowns for the Panthers.

Teely Rhyne and Patrick Reardon both surpassed the 100-yard rushing for Andrean in a 30-13 win at South Bend Saint Joseph. Rhyne had 31 carries for 121 yards and two touchdowns, while Reardon had touches for 104 yards and two scores for the 59ers. Courtney Rowell paced the Indians with nine rushes for 133 yards and two touchdowns.

Dakota Pratt returned the opening kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown and then added a 45-yard punt return and a one-yard run for scores in Jimtown's 49-6 win over Heritage. Kenny Kerrn added three touchdown runs for the Jimmies.

Tommy Polhamus found the end zone three times as Culver Academy downed Lakeland, 45-34. Eli Wallace ran 25 times for 345 yards and five touchdowns for Lakeland.

Gabe Quintanilla and Spencer Corrona tallied three touchdowns each in Vincennes Lincoln's 49-28 win over Mount Vernon (Posey).

Isaiah Lacey and Brandon Dunn scored two touchdowns apiece for Indian Creek in its 49-6 triumph over Indianapolis Washington. Grant Goforth added 15 tackles for the Braves.

Gavin Bane ran for two touchdowns and caught a pass for a third tally in Brownstown Central's 62-0 blanking of Brown County.

Blake Bennington's 17-yard touchdown run lifted Twin Lakes to a 28-14 win over Hamilton Heights.

Jacob Adkins and Keith Yager scored two touchdowns apiece in Rushville's 35-6 win over Indianapolis Marhsall.

CLASS 2A HIGHLIGHTS

Kurtis Wilderman threw for 300 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a fourth tally, leading Evansville Mater Dei to a 45-28 win over North Posey.  Chase Rheinlander had 139 yards on the ground and two scores, and Walker Massey had two touchdown receptions for the Wildcats. Drake Rogers tossed for 213 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score for the Vikings.

Jake Wilson tallied over 300 yards of offense in Elwood's 33-20 victory against Alexandria. Wilson had 28 carries for 218 yards and three touchdowns and tossed for 132 yards and one score for the Panthers.

Blane Beck completed 13-of-19 passes for 298 yards and three touchdowns for Milan in a 63-0 blanking of Union County. Jed Minnich ran 16 times for 124 yards and four scores, and Austin King added six catches for 136 yards and two tallies for the Indians.

Alex Small ran 10 times for 277 yards and three touchdowns in Oak Hill's 48-0 blanking of Rochester.

Joe Rush threw for 264 yards and five touchdowns, including the game-winning 21-yard strike to Jermaine Couch with 31 seconds left, helping Indianapolis Howe to a 31-26 win over Northeastern.

Will Jones racked up 44 carries for 257 yards and two scores in Lapel's 28-12 win over Frankton. Levi Frazier threw for 187 yards and two touchdowns for the Bulldogs.

Garrett Horn had 26 carries for 241 yards and two scores for Churubusco in a 21-16 win over Eastside. Conner Dove was 14-of-26 for 204 yards and two scores for Eastside.

Avery Hall had 21 carries for 240 yards and three touchdowns for Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter in a 35-13 win over Heritage Christian.

Dalton Smith accumulated 235 yards on the ground and three scores on just eight carries for defending state champion Monrovia in its 44-6 win over Southmont. Clay Whtney added six touches for 133 yards and one score for the Bulldogs.

Devin Denny ran 37 times for 188 yards and two touchdowns and caught a pass for another tally in Eastern Hancock's 27-0 blanking of Centerville.

Solomon Gross had 28 rushes for 187 yards and five scores as North Putnam cruised to a 42-20 win over Paoli.

Matt Shorter tallied 18 carries for 179 yards and two scores for Winamac in a 28-8 win over Lewis Cass.

Davon Wallace ran 33 times for 156 yards and two touchdowns in Eastbrook's 44-3 triumph over Eastern (Greentown). Justin Singer added 11 touches for 105 yards for the Panthers.

Elias Gates carried the ball 27 times for 151 yards and two touchdowns in Winchester's 30-0 blanking of Madison-Grant.

Hayes Sturtsman accumulated 149 total yards with two touchdown passes and one on the ground in Manchester's 28-19 win over Delphi.

Chase Edwards threw for 144 yards and three scores for Cascade in a 28-6 win over Cloverdale. Tanner Fox chipped in 34 carries for 142 yards and one touchdown for the Cadets.

Dylan White had seven runs for 143 yards and two touchdowns in Whiting's 36-6 win over Boone Grove.

Kaden Williams recorded seven carries for 143 yards and five score for Providence in its 63-14 win over Clarksville.

Mason Durrett tallied 139 yards on the ground with two touchdowns in Triton Central's 42-6 win over Switzerland County. Jordan Crouse tossed for 114 yards and three scores, two going to Aaron Steele, for the Tigers.

Carson Kinder ran 11 times for 118 yards and two touchdowns as Blackford snapped a 20-game losing streak with a 28-6 decision over Taylor.

Justin Harrell scampered for 114 yards and three scores for North Newton in a 42-0 blanking of Bowman Academy.

Grant Klockow accounted for 112 yards rushing and two touchdowns in Bremen's 35-14 win against Wabash.

J.D. Groh had nine runs for 111 yards and three touchdowns in South Adams' 54-7 win over Prairie Heights.

Jeremiah Walker ran for 109 yards and one score for River Forest in a 41-6 win over Hammond Bishop Noll.

Hunter Reed and Garrett Elder both surpassed the 100-yard rushing mark for Whitko in a 28-24 win over Central Noble. Reed ran for 124 yards, while Elder added 118 yards and two touchdowns for the Wildcats.

Trevon McCarter and Jackson Rhoades ran for over 100 yards and scored two touchdowns apiece in Woodlan's 54-6 win over Bluffton. McCarter finished with 126 yards, while Rhoades added 110 yards for the Warriors.

Blake Feller accounted for four touchdowns as Eastern (Pekin) rolled to a 49-18 win over Crawford County. Parker Wallinford added two scoring receptions to become the Mustangs' all-time leading receiver.

Sam Rowan had five runs for 92 yards and three scores in South Spencer's 34-18 win over Forest Park.

CLASS 1A HIGHLIGHTS

Kennan Orr's four-yard touchdown run in overtime lifted Clinton Central to a 16-8 win over Covington.

Landon McPheeters became West Washington's all-time leading rusher with seven carries for 159 yards in 49-0 blanking of Oldenburg Academy. McPheeters now has 3,919 career yards on the ground.

Logan Harmeson accounted for over 400 yards of offense in Attica's 70-46 win over Clinton Prairie. Harmeson threw for 279 yards and five touchdowns and ran 13 times for 159 yards and three scores. Owen Smyth added seven catches for 132 yards and two scores for the Red Ramblers. Sam Schoonveld ran 29 times for 196 yards and four scores for the Gophers.

Joe Callahan rambled 40 times for 267 yards and two touchdowns for Sheridan in a 49-12 victory over South Putnam. Drake Delph chipped in 175 total yards with three scoring passes and two scores on the ground for the Blackhawks.

Carson Blair threw for 257 yards and three scores and ran for another tally in Southwood's 28-14 upset of Northfield.

Jack Kiser tallied over 250 yards of offense in Pioneer's 49-13 win over Tri-County. Kiser ran 12 times for 137 yards and one score and completed 7-of-10 passes for 121 yards and four touchdowns for the Panthers.

Trey Filbrun was 15-of-19 for 236 yards and five touchdowns for Carroll (Flora) in a 56-0 blanking of Seeger. Gannon Guinn had two catches for 102 yards, including a 99-yard touchdown, and Devon Anderson added seven receptions for 108 yards and three scores for the Cougars.

Troy Bolds rambled 23 times for 216 yards and three scores for Culver Community in its 32-14 win over North Miami.

James Snyder racked up 214 total yards with two touchdown passes and two scoring runs in Triton's 50-0 blanking of Caston.

Kendall Williams tallied almost 200 yards of offense in Linton-Stockton's 56-15 win over Tecumseh. Williams ran for 113 yards and three touchdowns and had two catches for 74 yards and another tally for the Miners.

Ethan Kertai scampered 11 times for 198 yards and five touchdowns in LaVille's 41-13 win over Fremont. Adam Steinke and Mason Leed added two interceptions apiece for the Lancers.

Emery Brough was 10-of-16 for 192 yards and three touchdowns in Covenant Christian's 55-6 win over Turkey Run. Kierson Watts chipped in six catches for 130 yards and two scores, and Jalen Peterson added 132 total yards with two scoring runs and a touchdown reception for the Warriors.

David O'Neill carried the ball 30 times for 188 yards and five scores for Tri in a 43-6 win over Indiana School for the Deaf. Nick Wilson chipped in nine rushes for 137 yards and one score for the Titans.

The trio of Cory Fasbinder, Ethan Smith, and Ethan Hebert combined for more than 300 yards of total offense in North Decatur's 40-0 triumph over Edinburgh. Fasbinder had four carries for 158 yards and two touchdowns and also caught a pass for another score, Smith was 10-of-15 for 125 yards and two scores, and Hebert added 18 touches for 91 yards and two touchdowns for the Chargers.

Cowen Moulder, Jarron Grubb, and Shawn Rouse all went over the 100-yard mark on the ground for Tri-Central in a 60-7 win over Anderson Prep Academy. Moulder tallied 129 yards and one touchdown, Grubb added 123 yards and two scores, and Rouse added 102 yards and two tallies for the Trojans.

Jeff Graham tossed for 172 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score in Eastern Greene's 41-7 win over Springs Valley. Caleb Hamilton added 103 yards and two scores for the Thunderbirds.

Jacob Hills threw for 169 yards and three touchdowns for North Vermillion in a 55-7 win against Rockville. Evan Weir added four scores on the ground for the Falcons.

Owen Golliher was 12-of-22 for 157 yards and two scores and ran for another tally in Hagerstown's 55-8 win against Indianapolis Shortridge. Mason Hicks added 12 carries for 99 yards and three touchdowns for the Tigers.

Michael Aguilar completed 6-of-8 passes for 146 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for another score in Lake Stations' 28-12 win over North White. Jake Quasbarth had 26 carries for 177 yards and one score for North White.

Kyle Schmack rolled up 143 total yards with a touchdown pass and run in South Central's 28-0 win over West Central.

Drew Schultz ran for 141 yards and two touchdowns and caught a pass for another tally in Adams Central's 35-7 victory over Wes-Del.

Wayde Bentley tossed for 139 yards and three touchdowns in Fountain Central's 72-20 win over Riverton Parke. Nathaniel Butts added 109 yards rushing and three scores for the Mustangs.

Adam Dauby threw for a season-high 136 yards and two touchdowns for Perry Central in a 34-14 win over North Daviess.

Drake Lewis ran for 130 yards and two scores for North Judson in a 27-14 win over South Newton.

Richard Nelson had 14 touches for 128 yards and three touchdowns in Knightstown's 63-12 win over Indianapolis Tindley.

Avery Denhart completed 9-of-13 throws for 111 yards and three touchdowns, two going to Ben Metzinger, for defending state champion Lafayette Central Catholic in a 55-7 win over Frontier.

Joe Huff and Dalton Hatcher both surpassed the 100-yard rushing mark in Shenandoah's 64-12 win over Union City. Huff has 108 yards and three touchdowns, while Hatcher added 100 yards and two scores for the Raiders.

Seth Wilson and Kaden Conklin led a balanced attack with two touchdowns apiece in Monroe Central's 62-7 win over Southern Wells. Dawson Basinger, Garrett Froschauer, and Brayden Kutch all ran for more than 100 yards as North Central (Farmersburg) blanked Tell City, 30-0. Basinger had 156 yards and two touchdowns. Froschauer added 151 yards, and Kutch had 102 yards and one score for the Thunderbirds.
