The Indianapolis Colts today signed running back Josh Ferguson to the practice squad and released wide receiver Cyril Grayson Jr. from the practice squad.
Ferguson, 5-10, 205 pounds, participated in the Colts' 2017 offseason program and training camp before being waived-injured on September 2. After passing through waivers, he was placed on the team's Injured Reserve List. Indianapolis reached an injury settlement with Ferguson on September 8 and he was removed from the team's Injured Reserve List.
As a rookie in 2016, Ferguson played in all 16 games for the Colts and compiled 15 carries for 20 yards, 20 receptions for 136 yards and four kickoff returns for 80 yards. He was originally signed by the team as an undrafted free agent on May 2, 2016.
Grayson Jr., 5-9, 183 pounds, was signed to Indianapolis' practice squad on September 19. He also spent time on the Seattle Seahawks' practice squad this season.
