The Colts on Saturday honored Coral Terpening – the late wife of Colts director of college scouting Matt Terpening – by having staff in their draft room wear shirts reading "Your light lives on in all of us, C.C.T" during the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Coral Terpening died on April 12 in Louisville while attending a volleyball tournament with her daughters. She was 45. Those looking to honor Terpening's legacy can donate to the Hamilton County Humane Society by clicking here. You can read her obituary here.
"It was a hard week for all of us," general manager Chris Ballard said Monday to open his pre-draft press conference. "Our prayers go out to Matt and his two daughters. It was a hard week. The light was watching a community of Westfield come out to support this family – watch the organization support the Terpening family. Our prayers go out to all of them. It was a hard week. It was a hard week, and something we had to work through, something we'll never get over. We'll get through it. We'll always be here for all of them."

Terpening's two daughters, Stella and Gwyneth, were in the Colts' draft room for a ceremony honoring their mother during Saturday's draft.
Several NFL teams joined the Colts in wearing the shirts honoring Coral Terpening, including the Atlanta Falcons (pictured, top), Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars (second from top), Las Vegas Raiders (third from top), New Orleans Saints, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers (fourth from top) and Washington Commanders (bottom).
NFL Network also honored Coral Terpening on its broadcast of Day 3 of the NFL Draft.
"It's our way of giving Terp a hug," draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah said.
