Colts safety Cam Bynum will become the first player in franchise history to wear No. 0 when the 2025 season begins.
The Colts announced Bynum, a 2025 unrestricted free agent signing, will wear No. 0. Bynum was initially assigned No. 27 after signing with the Colts in March.
The NFL began allowing players to wear No. 0 in 2023. Prior to the change, no NFL player had worn No. 0 since the 1960s.
Additionally, cornerback Charvarius Ward will wear No. 7 – his number the last two years with the San Francisco 49ers – instead of No. 21.
