HOT OFF THE PRESS

Anderson Prep Academy has cancelled the remainder of its season because of a lack of participants in the program.

South Adams ended Adams Central's 19-game regular season and 14-game Allen County Conference winning streaks with a 42-14 victory.

Indianapolis Scecina saw its 18-game Indiana Crossroads Conference winning streak snapped with a 42-21 loss to Indianapolis Lutheran.

Derek Thompson set the school record for rushing yards in a game with 33 carries for 305 yards and four touchdowns in the Braves' 34-28 win over Seymour.

Marion Lukes became Charlestown's all-time leading rusher with his 230 yards and four touchdowns in the Pirates' 47-7 win over Scottsburg. Lukes, who was also named homecoming king at halftime, now has 4,743 yards and 53 touchdowns for his career.
