Played in 53 games (36 starts) in four seasons (2014-17) as a defensive lineman at Ohio State.Â
Helped the Buckeyes win six different championships: the 2014 College Football Playoff (CFP) national championship, a 2014 Sugar Bowl title, a 2015 Fiesta Bowl title, a 2017 Cotton Bowl title and Big Ten championships in 2014 and 2017.
The two-time team captain finished his career with 112 tackles (53 solo), 36.5 tackles for loss, 23.5 sacks and five forced fumbles.
In 2016, named the Smith-Brown Defensive Lineman of the Year, awarded to the best defensive lineman in the Big Ten.
His 23.5 sacks rank fifth all-time in Ohio State history. Â

Attended Tarboro (N.C.) High School, where he helped the Vikings win three consecutive North Carolina Class 2A state championships under coach Jeff Craddock.
Finished his senior season with 13 sacks and was named to the Associated Press all-state team.
Rated as a four-star defensive end prospect (Rivals, Scout, 247Sports).
Graduated from Ohio State in December 2016 with a degree in sociology.
