2018 (STEELERS):
Started all 15 games he appeared in and registered a team-high 79 tackles (58 solo), seven passes defensed and one interception. He also added one special teams tackle.
2017 (STEELERS):
Started all 16 games and recorded career highs in tackles (90), solo tackles (69), tackles for loss (7.0), passes defensed (eight) and interceptions (three). He also added 1.0 sack, one forced fumble and two special teams stops.

2016 (STEELERS):
As a rookie, he appeared in 16 games (nine starts) and accumulated 69 tackles (54 solo), 4.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, five passes defensed, one interception, one fumble recovery and one special teams tackle. He received the team's Joe Greene Great Performance Award, which is given to the Steelers' top rookie.

COLLEGE:
Saw action in 50 games (40 starts) at Maryland (2012-15) and tallied 318 tackles (220 solo), 10.0 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 14 passes defensed, five interceptions, six forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
In 2015, he earned Honorable Mention All-Big Ten honors after he started 12 games and registered 88 tackles (70 solo), 1.0 sack, three passes defensed, three interceptions, five forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. His five forced fumbles were the second-most in the country.
As a junior, he started all 13 games and accumulated 115 tackles (80 solo), 4.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, eight passes defensed and one forced fumble. His 115 tackles ranked fourth in the Big Ten.
In 2013, he started all 13 games and recorded a team-high 102 tackles (62 solo), half a sack, three passes defensed, two interceptions and one fumble recovery.
As a freshman, he appeared in 12 games (two starts) and finished with 13 tackles (eight solo) and one fumble recovery.

As a senior, he tallied 87 tackles, three interceptions and three forced fumbles while also adding 823 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. He also returned three kickoffs and two punts for touchdowns.
He did not play football until his junior season.
