Garnered Second Team All-SEC honors in 2023 after he saw action in 12 games (11 starts) and finished with 39 tackles (29 solo), 1.5 tackles for loss, seven passes defensed, four interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and one fumble recovery. Tallied three solo tackles, one pass defensed, one interception (returned for a touchdown) and one fumble recovery in the season opener vs. UMass.
In 2022, he played in 12 games (six starts) and tallied 37 tackles (29 solo), seven passes defensed and two interceptions. Registered three solo tackles, four passes defensed and one interception vs. Western Kentucky. Had five tackles (three solo), one pass defensed and one interception at Mississippi State.
Appeared in 11 games (five starts) in 2021 and compiled 27 tackles (22 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, five passes defensed and one interception. Tallied one solo tackle, one pass defensed and one interception vs. Ole Miss. Finished with four tackles (three solo) and one pass defensed at LSU.
In 2020, he saw action in eight games (one start) and recorded 14 tackles (10 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss and three passes defensed. Registered four tackles (two solo) at Mississippi State.
As a freshman, he played in four games and finished with two tackles and half a tackle for loss.

Competed at Frederica Academy, a small prep school on Saint Simons Island, Ga., and played for coach Brandon Derrick.
Was a four-year varsity starter.
Registered 48 tackles, four interceptions and two forced fumbles as a senior while helping the team to the 2018 GISA state championship (the second in school history). He also added 1,433 passing yards, 441 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns (15 passing, seven rushing).
Was GISA all-state and all-region 2-3A.
Considered a consensus four-star recruit.

Was the 2019 state high jump champion and also lettered in basketball and baseball.
