Played in 51 career games (30 starts) at Kansas (2021-23) and North Texas (2018-20) and completed 414-of-699 passes for 5,969 yards with 55 touchdowns and 26 interceptions. He also compiled 251 carries for 1,344 yards (5.4 avg.) and 14 touchdowns.
In 2023, he saw action in 12 games (10 starts) and completed 124-of-199 passes for 2,130 yards with 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He also registered 47 carries for 280 yards (6.0 avg.) and three touchdowns.
Appeared in 12 games (four starts) in 2022 and completed 87-of-136 passes for 1,280 yards and 14 touchdowns with four interceptions. He added 38 carries for 222 yards and four touchdowns.
In 2021, he saw action in 11 games (nine starts) and completed 102-of-182 passes for 1,252 yards and six touchdowns with six interceptions. On the ground, he tallied 400 yards and two touchdowns on 92 carries.
As a redshirt sophomore at North Texas, he appeared in eight games (seven starts) and completed 79-of-145 passes for 1,131 yards and 14 touchdowns with five interceptions. He also recorded 56 carries for 346 yards and five touchdowns. In a win against Middle Tennessee, he was named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week after he accounted for 350 total yards and five total touchdowns (two passing, three rushing).
In 2019, he competed in seven games and completed 22-of-35 passes for 176 yards and three touchdowns with three interceptions. Added 13 carries for 80 yards.
As a freshman, he appeared in one game and compiled four carries for 14 yards. He redshirted the 2018 season.
