Started 33-of-38 career games in three seasons at Northwestern and totaled 278 tackles (155 solo), 39.5 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, six fumble recoveries, four interceptions and 12 passes defensed.
Forced four fumbles in 2016, which ranked in the top 10 of all NCAA players.
As a redshirt sophomore in 2015, finished third in the Big Ten in tackles (122).
PERSONAL:
Attended Monsignor Edward Pace in Miami, Florida, where he played linebacker, wide receiver and defensive back in three years of varsity action.
Was a two-time all-state honoree, earning first-team honors in 2012, and twice earned first-team all-conference distinction.
Participated in the 2012 Nike Dade vs. Florida game.
Finished with 200 tackles, eight interceptions, six fumble recoveries and five forced fumbles.
Averaged 14.0 yards per catch as a wide receiver and had four touchdown receptions.
