KICKOFF: 7:30 pm ET, Friday, Wayne Stadium.

COACHES: Brett Colby, 73-22 in ninth season at Kokomo, 188-89 in 26th season overall. Kurt Tippmann, 72-19 in seventh season at Fort Wayne Snider.

LAST WEEK: Kokomo beat Westfield, 21-19. Fort Wayne Snider beat Mishawaka, 42-32.

PREVIOUS MEETING: Fort Wayne Snider, 52-28, Nov. 4, 2011, sectional.

LAST WEEK: Lafayette Central Catholic beat Pioneer, 31-14. Northfield beat Adams Central, 21-13.

DID YOU KNOW: Northfield's lone loss on the field was a 19-7 decision to Whitko. The other four setbacks came as a result of having to forfeit four games because of the use of an ineligible player.

NO. 5 NORTH VERMILLION (12-1) AT NO. 3 LINTON-STOCKTON (12-1)

KICKOFF: 7:30 pm ET, Friday, Roy Williams Field.

COACHES: Brian Crabtree, 49-3 in fourth season at North Vermillion, 84-42 in 11th season overall. Brian Oliver, 36-4 in third season at Linton-Stockton.

LAST WEEK: North Vermillion beat Indianapolis Lutheran, 55-37. Linton-Stockton beat West Washington, 35-13.

PREVIOUS MEETING: Linton-Stockton, 21-7, Sep. 11, 2015.

LAST SEMISTATE CROWN: North Vermillion (2014), Linton-Stockton (none).

DID YOU KNOW: Linton-Stockton is actually unbeaten on the field. They had to forfeit a 45-0 blanking of North Daviess because of the use of an ineligible player.
