Jake Purichia became Indiana's leader in career touchdown passes with two scores in Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter's 35-10 win over Speedway (8-4) for the Class 2A Sectional 37 title. Purichia, who threw for 131 yards and ran for a touchdown, has 131 career touchdown passes. Logan Beaman added 102 yards on the ground and two scores for the Raiders (10-2).
Maurice Woodard became West Lafayette's single-season rushing leader with 46 carries for 266 yards and four touchdowns in the Red Devils' 54-41 win against Yorktown for the Class 3A sectional 28 title. Woodard is now over 2,000 yards for the season, while Parker Ronchetto completed 9-of-15 passes for 168 yards and two scores to become West Lafayette's (11-1) all-time passing leader in a season. Chandler Carroll rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers (10-2).
Martayveus Carter rolled up more than 300 yards of offense, good for four touchdowns, as East Chicago Central captured its first sectional title with a 46-44 win over Gary West in the Class 4A Sectional 17 final. Carter ran for 291 yards and three scores and caught four passes for 47 yards and one tally. Carlos Fernandez tossed for 239 yards and three touchdowns, and TreQuan Burnett added three catches for 139 yards and two scores for the Cardinals (10-2). Ramone Atkins passed for 443 yards and five touchdowns, and JonVea Johnson caught 12 passes for 316 yards and four scores for the Cougars (7-5).
Wade Young and Tyler Weller both went over the 100-yard mark rushing in New Prairie's 28-6 win over South Bend St. Joseph for the Class 4A Sectional 18 crown. Young romped for 155 yards and one touchdown and Weller added 115 yards and one tally. Zach Brassell added two touchdown runs as the Cougars (12-0) won their first crown since 2006. Matt Monserez passed for 166 yards and one score, and Taj Smith accumulated 89 yards rushing and 85 yards receiving for the Indians (8-4).
Tyler Carpenter rambled for 116 yards on the ground and two scores, leading Penn to a 33-6 win over Lake Central for a Class 6A regional title. Central Michigan recruit Zach Oakley ran for 71 yards and one score and passed for 74 yards and one tally for the Kingsmen (12-0). Ethan Darter threw for 218 yards and one touchdown, and Antwan Davis added 11 catches for 107 yards for the Indians (9-3).
Matt DeSomer completed 14-of-16 passes for 281 yards and two touchdowns, lifting Andrean to a 42-0 blanking of Glenn (3-9) in the Class 3A Sectional 25 finale. DeSomer also ran for 148 yards and one score, Trevor Berg found the end zone twice, and Donovan Chandler caught six passes for 104 yards and one tally for the 59ers (12-0).
Tanner Bradley tallied 115 yards rushing and one touchdown, helping Mishawaka (9-3) claim its fourth sectional crown in the last five years with a 24-17 win over Munster in the Class 5A Sectional 9 title clash. Joe Proctor ran for 100 yards and one score for Munster (7-4).
Trevor Wilmore tossed for 187 yards and one touchdown and ran for another tally as Concord blanked Elkhart Central (4-7), 34-0, for the Class 5A Sectional 10 championship. Ryan Tepe connected on field goals of 42 and 37 yards and four extra-points for the Minutemen (9-2).
Ryan Zellmer caught four passes for 112 yards and ran for two touchdowns in Bremen's 20-13 win over Woodlan in the Class 2A Sectional 34 final. Kai Slough added 131 yards through the air for the Lions (9-3). Jaylin Bennett ran for 144 yards and one score for the Warriors (8-4).
Marquis Schieber passed for two touchdowns and ran for a third score, lifting Jimtown to a 42-21 win over Twin Lakes for the Class 3A Sectional 26 crown. Nik Olson chipped in 115 yards on the ground and one score, Casey Adams rushed for 9114 yards and two touchdowns, and Casey Adams rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns, for the Jimmies (10-2). Cameron Bennington passed for 278 yards and one score and ran for another for the Indians (7-5).
Parker Fox tossed a pair of touchdown passes to Sean Lynch, leading Winamac to a 33-7 win over West Central in the Class 1A Sectional 41 finale. Tyler Katschke ran for 130 yards and one touchdown and threw another tally, and Keegan Kasten added a scoring run and catch for the Warriors (12-0). Parker Fritz rushed for 108 yards for the Trojans (8-4).
Caleb Cross ran for 81 yards and found the end zone three times as Indianapolis Cathedral (7-5) rolled to a 56-13 win over Anderson in the Class 5A Sectional 13 title game. Tyler Welch ran for 127 yards and one score, and Gaven Owens added 107 yards passing and one touchdown for Anderson (4-7).
Nolan Ayers passed for 185 yards and three touchdowns, guiding Indianapolis Scecina to a 46-14 thrashing of Shenandoah for the Class 2A Sectional 38 crown. Nick Asher caught two touchdown passes, Rocky Leffler added two scoring runs, and Elijah Broschart chipped in a scoring run and catch for the Crusaders (10-2). Adam Lovan tossed for 132 yards and one score for the Raiders (9-3).
Ethan Bowland ran for two touchdowns and a pair of two-point conversions as Oak Hill captured its first sectional crown since 1996 with a 35-14 triumph over Alexandria in the Class 2A Sectional 36 final. Nate McPike tallied 125 yards rushing, Zach Daniels has 116 yards on the ground and one score, and Riley Johnson connected on field goals of 38 and 34 yards for the Golden Eagles (9-3). Blaize Kelly threw for 257 yards and one score for the Tigers (8-4).
Tyler Tippmann tallied two touchdowns as Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger notched its ninth sectional title in 10 years with a 33-13 win over East Noble in the Class 4A Sectional 19 finale. Mike Fiacable added 113 yards passing and one score and 62 yards rushing for the Saints (9-3) Brandon Mable paced the Knights (9-3) with 155 yards on the ground.
Shane Leonard's 25-yard field goal in overtime paved the way for F.W. Snider to post a 17-14 win over F.W. North in the Class 5A Sectional 12 title clash. Jibri Bramley ran for 102 yards and one touchdown for the Panthers (10-2). Ryan Lovett tossed for 223 yards and a touchdown and ran for 66 yards for the Redskins (7-4).
Ariest Vasquez raced for 267 yards and two touchdowns, lifting New Haven to a 37-7 win over Norwell (6-6) in the Class 4A Sectional 20 final. Jordan Hogue had seven receptions for 129 yards and one touchdown and ran a punt for another score for the Bulldogs (11-1).
Derek Wanner combined for more than 300 total yards and four touchdowns in South Adams' 40-39 overtime win over Southwood (8-4) for the Class 1A Sectional 43 crown. Wanner, who scored the game-winning touchdown and extra-point, finished with 184 yards passing and 142 yards rushing for the Starfires (5-7).
Jon Poore romped for 147 yards and five touchdowns as F.W. Concordia breezed to a 42-21 win against F.W. Bishop Luers for the Class 3A Sectional 27 title. David Morrison tossed for 302 yards and one score, and Jacob Minich added eight catches for 173 yards for the Cadets (9-3). Noah Wezensky passed for 196 yards and two scores for the Knights (2-10), who had their 26-game post-season winning streak snapped.
Nolan Ayers threw two touchdown passes, leading Jasper (11-1) to a 17-9 win over Evansville Reitz (8-4) in the Class 4A Sectional 24 final.
Austin Peyton found the end zone twice, helping Gibson Southern to a 39-35 win over Evansville Bosse (7-5) for the Class 3A Sectional 32 crown. Nick Sellers ran for 104 yards and passed for 87 yards and one score for the Titans (12-0) Ian Nunley had 275 yard passing and one touchdown, Carrington Crutcher ran for 122 yards and two scores, and Arius Carter had three catches for 125 yards and one score and also ran for a touchdown for the Bulldogs (7-5).
Connor Craig rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns, leading Southridge (10-2) to a 21-19 win over previously unbeaten Evansville Mater Dei. Nolan Goebel ran for 170 yards and two scores, and Jacob Fleming booted field goals of 20 and 32 yards for Mater Dei (11-1).
Kai Stratten scored three touchdowns in Terre Haute North's 42-7 win over Evansville North for the Class 5A Sectional 16 championship. Chris Barrett tossed for 149 yards for the Patriots (9-2), who captured their first sectional title since 1986. Jesse Millikan led the Huskies (3-8) with 162 yards through the air.
Mitch Eberhardt ran for 161 yards as Linton-Stockton downed Perry Central, 42-9, in the Class 1A Sectional 48 final. Beau Eaton ran for two touchdowns and passed for a third score for the Miners (12-0). Austin LeClere had 139 yards rushing and one score for the Commodores (9-3).
Garrett Kelley became the single-season leader by rushing for 156 yards and two touchdowns as Tri-Central earned its first sectional crown since 1991 with a 32-0 win over Clinton Prairie in the Class 1A Sectional 44 final. Dylon Powell threw and ran for scores for the Trojans (11-1). Nik Royer had 129 yards on the ground for the Gophers (5-7).
Sam Kiser rambled for three touchdowns and threw for a fourth score, leading Pioneer to a 32-0 shutout of Frontier (3-9) for the Class 1A Sectional 42 crown. Justin Mersch tacked on 142 yards on the ground for the Panthers (10-2).
Austin Hooker combined for over 200 total yards and four touchdowns, lifting Tipton to a 37-21 win over Delphi in the Class 2A Sectional 38 final. Hooker passed for 137 yards and one score and ran for 76 yards and three tallies for the Blue Devils (9-3). Garrett Johnson ran for 148 yards and two touchdowns for the Oracles (6-6).
Ryan Arihood rushed for 149 yards and three touchdowns, guiding Rensselaer Central to a 40-12 win against Bowman Academy for the Class 2A Sectional 33 crown. Trevor Hill added 85 yards and two scores on the ground, Dalton Souders tallied 11 tackles and five quarterback sacks, and Dalton Murphy recorded 10 tackles for the Bombers (10-2). Isaiah Cole scored twice for the Eagles (6-6).
Daniel Harrison romped for 201 yards and three touchdowns, leading Fountain Central to a 48-12 win over Attica (8-4) in the Class 1A Sectional 47 finale. Koby Pierce added 102 yards passing for the Mustangs (11-1).
Lucas Lorian carried the football 38 times for 262 yards and five touchdowns, helping South Putnam (11-1) to a 42-28 win over Indianapolis Lutheran for the Class 1A Sectional 46 crown. Dylan Goddard had 128 yards rushing and three scores for Lutheran (7-5).
Markell Jones rushed for 171 yards and four touchdowns, leading Columbus East (12-0) to a 42-7 win over Shelbyville for the Class 4A Sectional 23 title. Jake Laker passed for 175 yards and ran for one score, and Mitch Orem had nine receptions for 145 yards for Shelbyville (6-6).
Brett Balsmeyer passed for 214 yards and three touchdowns, lifting Paoli to a 21-14 win over Triton Central (9-3) in the Class 2A Sectional 39 title game. Tanner Wroblewski added 12 catches for 173 yards and two scores for the Rams (10-2).
Isaac James threw for 109 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a third score, guiding Carmel to a 38-7 win over Carroll (Fort Wayne) for a Class 6A regional crown. Shakir Paschall added 100 yards rushing for the Greyhounds (9-3). Chandler Boggs passed for 197 yards and one score for the Chargers (9-3).
Spencer Gilbert rambled for 320 yards and four touchdowns, leading Eastern Hancock to 57-36 win over Northeastern for the Class 1A Sectional 45 championship. Logan Splater accumulated more than 100 yards and two scores, and Cooper Henderson ran for two touchdowns for the Royals (12-0). Joey Claypool passed for 178 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score, and Kelsy Kirkland added two scores for the Knights (9-3).
Luke Calvert tossed for 147 yards and two touchdowns, helping Center Grove cruise to a 56-14 win over previously unbeaten Southport in a Class 6A regional final. Max Norris added 10 carries for 128 yards and two scores for the Trojans (11-1). Luke Johnston threw for 272 yards and two touchdowns, and Tim Jewell added nine receptions for 153 yards and two scores for the Cardinals (11-1).
LeVante Bellamy rushed for 299 yards and four touchdowns as Brebeuf Jesuit claimed its first sectional crown with a 42-21 win over Tri-West in the Class 3A Sectional 29 finale. Aaron Banks added 122 yards through the air and two scores for the Braves (9-3). Jake Hendershot passed for 200 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for 75 yards for Tri-West. Colton Jobe had nine catches for 134 yards and one score, and Casey Coll hauled in two touchdown passes for the Bruins (9-3).
Blake Luker accumulated 96 yards passing and three touchdowns to Nolan Guedel in New Palestine's 33-0 blanking of Mount Vernon (Fortville) (9-3) for the Class 4A Sectional 21 crown. James Young added 120 yards rushing and two scores for the Dragons (12-0).
Jeff George threw for 214 yards and two touchdowns as Warren Central (9-3) rallied for a 24-21 win over Indianapolis Pike in Class 6A regional action. Brent Lyles tossed for 136 yards and one score, and Derrick Wilkerson ran for 105 yards and one tally for the Red Devils (7-5).
Matt Labus racked up 188 yards passing and two touchdowns, leading Guerin Catholic (5-7) to a 24-20 win over Indian Creek in the Class 3A Sectional 30 finale. Brendan Smith ran for 157 yards and one touchdown and caught a pass for a score, and Gynson Robley tossed for 108 yards and one score for Indian Creek (9-3).
Shaw Cloud raced for 96 yards and two touchdown, lifting Whiteland to a 41-20 win over Floyd Central for the Class 5A Sectional 14 title. Jacob Ballain added two field goals of 25 and 26 yards for the Warriors (9-2). Colton Kimm passed for 107 yards and one touchdown, and Gaige Klingsmith added a scoring run and catch for the Highlanders (8-3).
Stan Jackson ran for 98 yards and one touchdown, blocked two punts, and intercepted a pass in Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's (9-3) 28-8 win over Indianapolis Roncalli for the Class 4A Sectional 22 crown. Cam Smock passed for 164 yards and caught a touchdown pass, and David Holtkamp added seven catches for 125 yards and a touchdown pass for Roncalli (8-4).
Clay Brown passed for 286 yards and three touchdowns, leading Brownstown Central to a 62-6 thrashing of Charlestown in Class 3A Sectional 31 action. Mitchell Grider had four receptions for 102 yards and two scores, and Filippo Lippi-Hutcheson ran for two touchdowns for the Braves (12-0). Tristan Chester threw for 153 yards and one score for the Pirates (8-4).
Nick Ferrer completed 8-of-10 passes for 254 yards and three touchdowns, guiding Westfield to a 45-21 win over McCutcheon in the Class 5A Sectional 11 final. Nick Henderson had four receptions for 162 yards and one score, and Elvin Caldwell ran for 136 yards and one score for the Shamrocks (10-1). Blake Elming rushed for 135 yards and one score for the Mavericks (4-7).
Jack Smith threw a pair of touchdown passes to Drew Ludwig, helping Bloomington North post a 24-21 win over Bloomington South in Class 5A Sectional 15 play. Smith also ran for a score for the Cougars (7-4). Eli Eads had 145 yards rushing and two scores, and Bryce Stancombe tossed for 141 yards and one tally for the Panthers (4-7).
