INDIANAPOLIS – Fittingly, the NFL's leading receiver carried the same sort of production into the Pro Bowl.
T.Y. Hilton was the AFC's leading receiver at Sunday night's Pro Bowl in Orlando.
Hilton's five catches for 58 yards helped the AFC capture a 20-13 win over the NFC.
"It feels great," Hilton said of getting a win in his third straight Pro Bowl appearance. "We competed (Sunday). The crowd was amazing. The crowd brought the energy and made us want to play even harder.
"When you first get out there, everybody is trying to get warm, get used to each other. Then that second half, it really picks up. It was exciting getting a win."
The AFC quarterbacks clearly felt a level of comfort in looking Hilton's way.
Hilton was the AFC's most targeted receiver on Sunday and hauled in passes from all three quarterbacks.
"It was very fun," Hilton said of his five catches for 58 yards. "I had a lot of catches and that felt good."
Besides Hilton, Andrew Luck (alternate) and Pat McAfee each were invited to the 2017 Pro Bowl but could not play due to injury.
