The Colts Make Their Second Make It Personal Tour Stop in
Rushville
Rushville – As the bell tower rang 3:00 PM on Tuesday, the Colts staff was just beginning to set up for the second Make It Personal stop in Rushville, but die hard Colts fan Jason Veach was already in line. Jason was the first of about thirty fans to line up before the Colts crew had even arrived.
Jason drove from New Castle for his second Make It Personal tour in two days. Jason said he is "excited to meet as many players as possible and to just be part of it". Jason, just like the other 1,500 hundred fans in attendance, was excited to be able to get the autograph of Victor Worsley, Freddie Keiaho and a couple of the Colts cheerleaders.
"It is always great to come out to the Make It Personal tour because I get to see all the kids and they are a lot of fun to be around" said Freddie Keiaho. Bailey, one of the Colts cheerleaders, said she loved to see "what a great sense of pride the fans have".
After the fans received their autographs, most fans migrated over to the bluegreen resorts table where they were able to register to win season tickets as well as $40 in food at every home game. Also, more than fifty fans volunteered to donate blood on Tuesday at the Bleed Blue Blood Drive hosted by the Indiana Blood Center.
Many Colts fan took the opportunity to sit in an Lifeline helicopter during the tour stop. The landing of the helicopter directly beside of the Make It Personal tour stop drew a large crowd about halfway through the event.
One of the more exciting moments of the tour stop was when the Colts staff and fans learned that Indianapolis was awarded Super Bowl XLVI to be played in Lucas Oil Stadium in 2012.
You can join your fellow Colts fans like Jason, and follow the Colts to Meijer in Indianapolis on Southport Road on Thursday (5/22) from 4:00 – 6:00 PM because like Jason said, "This makes it feel like the season starts earlier".
