The Indianapolis Colts created the league in 2023 with eight high school teams from Indianapolis and South Bend. This year, it expanded to 26 teams with five divisions in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and South Bend.
The Colts have prioritized flag football development to introduce the game to a new generation of athletes and fans, particularly girls who traditionally have not had the same opportunities to play the game as boys.
