WESTFIELD, Ind. —The Indianapolis Colts today signed free agent safety Robenson Therezie and released defensive tackle Caraun Reid.
Therezie, 5-9, 212 pounds, has played in 25 career games (two starts) and has totaled 30 tackles (24 solo), two passes defensed, one interception and four special teams stops in his time with the Cincinnati Bengals (2017), New Orleans Saints (2016) and Atlanta Falcons (2015-16). He was originally signed by the Falcons as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2015 out of Auburn.
In 2017, Therezie spent time on the Bengals practice squad. He spent time with the New York Jets and Saints during the 2017 offseason. Therezie saw action in 12 games with the Saints in 2016 and tallied one tackle and two special teams stops. In 2015, he played in 13 games (two starts) with the Falcons and recorded 29 tackles (23 solo), two passes defensed, one interception and two special teams stops.
Reid, 6-2, 305 pounds, signed with Indianapolis as a free agent on December 18, 2017. He has played in 34 career games (12 starts) in his time with the Colts (2017), Washington Redskins (2017), Detroit Lions (2014-15, 2017) and San Diego Chargers (2016) and has totaled 36 tackles (28 solo), 9.0 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, two passes defensed and two fumble recoveries.
