The Indianapolis Colts today signed wide receiver Dres Anderson to the practice squad and released wide receiver KeVonn Mabon from the practice squad.
Anderson, 6-2, 190 pounds, spent time on the Washington Redskins practice squad earlier this season. He spent time on the Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers practice squads last season. As a rookie in 2015, Anderson spent the entire season on the 49ers' Injured Reserve List. He originally signed with San Francisco as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2015.
Collegiately, Anderson played in 44 games (32 starts) at Utah and totaled 134 receptions for 2,077 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also compiled 25 carries for 143 yards and one touchdown and 12 kickoff returns for 251 yards. Anderson finished as the Utes' fifth all-time leader in receiving yards and was a four-time All-Pac-12 honorable mention selection.
Mabon, 6-1, 212 pounds, was signed to the Colts practice squad on November 9. He participated in the Tennessee Titans' 2017 offseason program and training camp before being waived during final cuts on September 2. Mabon originally signed with the Titans as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2017. Collegiately, he played in 52 games (27 starts) at Ball State.
