The Indianapolis Colts today signed free agent running back De'Mard Llorens and waived tight end Steven Wroblewski.
Llorens, 5-10, 212 pounds, most recently spent time with the Los Angeles Rams before being waived on August 23, 2017. He originally signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent on May 16, 2017. Llorens was waived on May 30 and then re-signed with the team on July 27.
Collegiately, Llorens played in 44 games at Northwestern State and totaled 444 carries for 2,381 yards (5.4 avg.) and 25 touchdowns. He also compiled 63 receptions for 544 yards and six touchdowns. Llorens finished in the top 10 in Demon history in rushing yards (10th) and rushing touchdowns (tied-fifth). In 2016, he garnered First Team All-Southland honors after appearing in 10 games and accumulating 134 carries for 853 yards and eight touchdowns. Llorens also caught 19 passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns. He saw action in 11 games in 2015 and totaled 173 carries for 820 yards and 11 touchdowns. Llorens also recorded 12 receptions for 87 yards en route to earning All-Southland Conference honorable mention recognition. In 2014, he played in 11 games and carried the ball 87 times for 429 yards and three touchdowns. Llorens also tallied 18 receptions for 177 yards and two touchdowns. He appeared in 12 games in 2013 and had 50 carries for 279 yards and three touchdowns. Llorens also caught 14 passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns.
Wroblewski, 6-7, 265 pounds, signed with the Colts as a free agent on August 5, 2017. He previously spent time with the Arizona Cardinals this offseason after signing with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent on May 2, 2017.
