The Indianapolis Colts today signed linebacker Vontarrius Dora to the practice squad.
Dora, 6-4, 256 pounds, spent time on the Arizona Cardinals practice squad earlier this season. As a rookie in 2016, he spent time on the Denver Broncos' active roster and practice squad. Dora saw action in one game for the Broncos. He originally signed with Denver as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2016.
Collegiately, Dora played in 45 games at Louisiana Tech and compiled 147 tackles (64 solo), 23.5 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks, four passes defensed, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. As a senior in 2015, he earned Honorable Mention All-Conference USA recognition after starting all 13 games at defensive end and tallying 48 tackles (31 solo), 6.0 sacks, one pass defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
