The Indianapolis Colts today signed free agent linebacker Tyrell Adams.
Adams, 6-2, 230 pounds, has played in 12 career NFL games and has totaled 21 tackles (13 solo) and three special teams stops in his time with the Oakland Raiders (2016-17), Kansas City Chiefs (2015-16) and Seattle Seahawks (2015). He has also seen action in one postseason contest.
In 2017, Adams appeared in six games with Oakland and tallied 21 tackles (13 solo) and three special teams stops. He spent time on the Raiders' active roster and practice squad in 2016. Adams played in six regular season games and saw action in one postseason contest with Oakland. He also spent time on the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad early in the season. As a rookie in 2015, Adams spent time on the practice squads of the Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks. He was originally signed by the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2015 out of West Georgia.
