WESTFIELD, Ind. — The Indianapolis Colts today signed free agent guard Nick Callender.
Callender, 6-6, 321 pounds, was signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent on May 7, 2018 before being waived on June 12.
Collegiately, Callender played in 37 games (21 starts) at Colorado State. As a senior in 2016, he garnered All-Mountain West honorable mention recognition from the coaches and media after playing in all 13 games (10 starts). The Rams allowed just 1.0 sack per game which ranked eighth in the country. Callender appeared in 11 games (nine starts) in 2015 and assisted with an offense that ranked third in the Mountain West in yards per game (417.0). In 2014, he saw action in 12 games (two starts). Callender appeared in one game in 2013. He redshirted as a true freshman in 2012.
