The Indianapolis Colts today signed defensive tackle Jeremy Liggins to the practice squad.
Liggins, 6-3, 315 pounds, spent Week 12 on the Colts practice squad before being released on November 28. He was originally signed to Indianapolis' practice squad on November 21. Liggins spent time on the San Francisco 49ers practice squad earlier this season. He participated in the Seattle Seahawks' 2017 offseason program and training camp before being waived during final cuts on September 2. Liggins originally signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2017.
Collegiately, Liggins played in 28 games (seven starts) in three seasons (2014-16) at Mississippi. He saw action at tight end for the majority of his career, but also played some wildcat quarterback. Liggins converted to offensive tackle for his senior season. Prior to Mississippi, he spent one season at Northeast Mississippi Community College where he saw action at defensive end and quarterback.
