INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts today claimed wide receiver Zach Pascal off waivers (from Tennessee) and waived wide receiver Kayaune Ross.
Pascal, 6-2, 219 pounds, spent time on the Titans' active roster and practice squad as a rookie in 2017 but did not see game action. He participated in the Washington Redskins' 2017 offseason program and training camp before being waived during final cuts on September 2. Pascal originally signed with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent on May 4, 2017.
Collegiately, Pascal started 41-of-49 career games at Old Dominion and registered a school-record 233 receptions for 3,193 yards and 30 touchdowns. He also compiled 310 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown and returned 32 kickoffs for 729 yards (22.8 avg.). As a senior in 2016, Pascal was named Second Team All-Conference USA after leading the Monarchs with 65 receptions for 946 yards and nine touchdowns.
Ross, 6-5, 223 pounds, was signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent on May 18, 2018. He participated in the team's 2018 Rookie Mini-Camp on a tryout basis before being signed. Ross played in 18 games in two seasons (2016-17) at Kentucky and totaled 21 catches for 296 yards and one touchdown. Prior to Kentucky, he attended Phoenix College (Ariz.) from 2014-15.
