The Indianapolis Colts will travel to Tampa, Florida for a meeting with the Buccaneers on Monday Night Football. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. EST at Raymond James Stadium. The Colts hold a 7-4 alltime series record over Tampa Bay, which includes wins in the last two regular season meetings (2003 & 2007). Indianapolis has also recorded a 9-2 franchise mark on Monday Night Football with wins coming in the last two contests in 2009 and 2010.
The Colts fell just short of their first win this season after the Pittsburgh Steelers escaped Lucas Oil Stadium on a last second field goal. Indianapolis' defense registered an impressive performance, finishing the game with three takeaways, three sacks and limiting the Steelers rushing attack to 67 yards. Dwight Freeney tallied two sacks in the contest for the Colts while Jamaal Anderson scooped up his first career fumble recovery and took it 47 yards for a touchdown. Tampa Bay earned its second win of the season, 16-13, holding off a late charge from its NFC South counterpart, Atlanta. Bucs running back LeGarrette Blount rushed for 81 yards in the win.
Indianapolis returns home for a Week 5 match-up with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, October 9 at Lucas Oil Stadium Game time is slated for 1 p.m. EST.
