Fundraiser to Benefit Riley Hospital for Children
INDIANAPOLIS – Recognized as one of the leading children's hospitals in the nation, Riley Hospital for Children has long been an integral part of the Indiana community. As the State's only comprehensive children's hospital, with pediatric specialists in every field of medicine and surgery, Riley has provided outstanding medical care for thousands of Hoosier children over the years.
On July 23, 2008, the Colts are supporting WIBC and Clarian Health as they partner for the 12th Annual Race for Riley event. All proceeds from the event, which offers individuals the opportunity to race against John Andretti, will benefit Riley Hospital for Children.
This year's Race for Riley will begin at 1 p.m. at Mark and Donna Dismore's New Castle Motorsports Park with a race between local sportscasters and John Andretti. At 2 p.m., the Colts mascot, Blue, will suit up to race against Indiana Pacers mascot, Boomer. Colts Cheerleaders will also be on hand from 3-5 p.m. to sign autographs and greet fans.

Since 1997, Race for Riley has raised more than $1 million to benefit Riley Hospital for Children.
