**Colts to Host Pre-game Collection Benefiting United Way of
Central Indiana
**
INDIANAPOLIS – For 35 years, United Way and the
National Football League have been working together to help
strengthen America's communities. On Sunday, the Colts will
celebrate the partnership by teaming with United Way of Central
Indiana (UWCI) to host a collection at the Colts vs. 49ers game to
benefit the 2009 Community Campaign. From 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. fans can
look for volunteers wearing Live United™ t-shirts and
carrying donation buckets to drop off their cash donations.
Volunteers will be stationed at the Colts Community Collections
Stations, presented by Toyota, outside all Lucas Oil Stadium gates.
UWCI will also have a table set up to collect donations in the
American Family Fan Zone, located outside the southeast corner of
Lucas Oil stadium. Even a dollar can make a difference!
United Way of Central Indiana helps improve lives and build stronger communities through their support of innovative, practical and efficient human services programs and partners that address local needs. They support the entire community, providing solutions that address today's needs and reduce tomorrow's.
