INDIANAPOLIS --- Indiana University offensive tackle Jason Spriggs separated himself from the other linemen at the NFL Combine in the 40-yard-dash, posting the fastest time and one of only three O-linemen to go sub 5.0 seconds.
Spriggs also was 4th among linemen with 31 reps on the bench press, three behind the best performance this year of 34. His broad jump of 9'7" was the best by an offensive lineman and 4th best since 2006.

Spriggs was already projected to be a 2nd round pick. Could he be inching towards primetime and hugging the Commissioner on stage in Chicago? The Concord High School product outside South Bend certainly helped his case Friday at the NFL Combine.
