The final destination on the 2010 Make It Personal Tour was the Fair Oaks Farm.

At the same place where the public can come to watch a calf be born, learn about the benefits of milk, see how it is made and enjoy the final prodcut they could also come to meet Indianapolis Colts Mike Hart and Pat Angerer on July 21.

"It is great. Anytime you get a chance to meet the fans it is a lot of fun," rookie Angerer, who was a two year starter at Iowa, said. "They have been waiting all day in the hot sun just to see us and that's incredible. It is just great to be a part of this team from the fans to the coaches to the other players. I couldn't be in a better spot."

The folks at Fair Oaks Farms welcomed the tour with open arms. Most if not all of the staff donned their Colts apparel and the exhibit hall was decorated with Colts horseshoes.

"I think it is a great event. Fair Oaks Farm is a family destination and this is a wonderful family event," gracious host and General Manager Julie Basich said. "There is so much to do from autographs to the inflatables that attract families. It's just a great event."

Basich said it was not only a great event for members of the local community and everyday visitors but also for many of her employees and their families.

"Fair Oaks Farm and the Colts make a great team because they are both about wholesome family fun," Basich said. "Our team makes the great product milk and I think the Colts are a family oriented organization that puts a great product on the field."

The MIP Tour also provided fans with the opportunity to meet cheerleaders Sara and Kathleen and register to win free preseason tickets. Kids enjoyed the mountain slide, bounce house and other interactive elements of the tour.

For Blue the trip Fair Oaks Farms was a homecoming of sorts. H participated in the birthing process, rode the milking carousel, climbed the rock wall and made an appearance at the event.

With stomachs full of Fair Oaks' scrumptious food the MIP Tour headed home for the final time this summer. The tour may be over but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of chances to check out the Colts this summer.

The Indianapolis Colts want to encourage all fans to join us for training camp in Anderson, Ind. For more information click on the events link under the Fanzone tab above.
