INDIANAPOLIS – It's the offseason, so Colts.com takes a look at some tweets from Colts players to get an idea of what they are up to during their down time.
The NFL's second oldest active defensive back (and oldest safety) turned 35 on Thursday. Adams will be playing alongside a different safety for the third straight season with the Colts. Second-year safety Clayton Geathers, and his physical nature, will be roaming the backend of the Colts' defense with Adams. Since joining the Colts in 2014, Adams' 10 interceptions are the third most in the NFL.
Allen, the Colts Man of the Year in 2015, is extremely active in the local community. In returning to Indianapolis for another four seasons, I fully expect Allen to continue to expand and grow his already substantial community reach.
What a rule suggestion by McAfee. This would add some intrigue to kickoffs and really force teams to evaluate elite kicking power. I feel like McAfee does this (boot a kickoff through the uprights) already around a handful of times a season.
