After not practicing on Wednesday or Thursday with a back injury, Michael Pittman Jr. participated in the Colts' Friday practice ahead of their Week 6 game against the Tennessee Titans.
"We still don't know what course of action is going to happen, but I'm just doing everything to put myself in the best situation to try and play," Pittman said. "I want to be out there for everybody in here, and so we'll see what happens."
"Everything is still on the table," the fifth-year wide receiver added.
Pittman said his back injury is something that "flares up every now and then", and something he's been dealing with. Pittman did not practice on the Friday ahead of the Colts' Week 3 game against the Chicago Bears due to a back and calf injury, but went on to play in the game.
Pittman said it will ultimately be up to head coach Shane Steichen whether Pittman plays on Sunday, and he's going to do everything he can do to show Steichen he can play.
"He's feeling really good, so we'll see where that goes," Steichen said. "He's one of the toughest guys I've ever been around."
