INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts (2-5) defeated the Buffalo Bills (2-5), 37-5, today at Lucas Oil Stadium. Here are the updates throughout today's game.

FOURTH QUARTER

— Kenny Moore II steps in front of a Derek Anderson pass for his second pick of the season. With Jacoby Brissett in at quarterback now, all he had to do was hand it off to Marlon Mack, whose career day continues. Mack takes it untouched off the left edge for a 20-yard touchdown, and now the Colts lead the Bills, 37-5. Mack today: 19 carries, 126 yards (6.6 avg.), one touchdown rushing, one touchdown receiving. Also: we'll ask after the game about Adam Vinatieri, who just missed his second extra point of the day and just seems off overall. He was listed with a right groin injury during practice Week 5, but not sure if that's the issue today.

— The Colts break their four-game losing streak with an impressive 37-5 victory over the Bills, moving to 2-5 on the season. Now they start to prepare for next Sunday's road game against the Oakland Raiders. Stay tuned to Colts.com for all the latest from this one.

THIRD QUARTER

— Injury update: Tight end Erik Swoope (knee) has been downgraded to OUT.

— Bills get on the board with a 34-yard field goal from Stephen Hauschka. It's Colts 24, Bills 3 with 7:42 left in the third quarter.

— Safety for the Bills. Ryan Kelly's snap takes Andrew Luck by surprise, and the ball bounces out of the back of the end zone. It's 24-5 with 20 seconds left in the third quarter.

— At the end of the third quarter, the Colts lead the Bills, 24-5.

SECOND QUARTER

— Injury update: defensive tackle Jihad Ward (ankle) has been downgraded to OUT.

— Touchdown, Colts. Andrew Luck 17-yard passing play to tight end Erik Swoope, who all of a sudden has a touchdown reception in three straight games.Adam Vinatieri is off the mark on the extra point attempt. Colts lead the Bills, 6-0, with 13:31 left in the 2Q. It was a 13-play, 75-yard drive that took 6:53 off the clock.

— Opportunistic turnover forced by the Indy defense. Quarterback Derek Anderson finds tight end Charles Clay, who is immediately blanketed by safety Mike Mitchell, who pokes the ball loose. Linebacker Darius Leonard pounces of the loose ball and Indy gets the ball back at its own 26-yard line. Great play by the veteran safety Mitchell, who was signed by the team just two weeks ago but is playing very well.

— The Colts capitalize on the Bills' fumble. Andrew Luck finds running back Marlon Mack all alone along the right side, who takes the pass and sprints to the end zone 29 yards away for the touchdown. Mack got to show off his speed on that one, and simply outran the Buffalo secondary to paydirt. An illegal formation call on the Bills on the extra-point attempt sets up the Colts with a two-point attempt from the one-yard line, and Mack punches that in, too. At the 9:25 mark of the second quarter, the Colts lead the Bills, 14-0.

— Injury update: tight end Erik Swoope (knee) is questionable to return.

— On 3rd and 4 from the 5-yard line, Andrew Luck is flushed out to his right. His top target, T.Y. Hilton, knows just how to bail him out, however, as he ran back towards his quarterback to get open for a brief moment during a broken play, and Luck finds him. The five-yard touchdown play makes it 21-0 with 1:38 left in the second quarter.

— Bills head coach Sean McDermott tries to ice Adam Vinatieri with three seconds left in the first half. Somehow it doesn't work. Vinatieri nails his attempt from 36 yards out to give the Colts a 24-0 lead going into halftime. That final play was set up by an interception by safety Mike Mitchell, whose forced fumble earlier in the quarter also led to an Indy touchdown. Again: Mitchell was signed just two weeks ago. Nice pickup for the Colts.

FIRST QUARTER

— After receiving the opening kickoff, Colts go three and out on their opening drive. Indy faced a 3rd and 1 and it looked like quarterback Andrew Luck was lining up in shotgun, but he quickly walked up under center Ryan Kelly and took the snap and darted to his left, but was immediately met at the line of scrimmage. That brought on the punt team.

— Injury update: defensive tackle Jihad Ward (ankle) is questionable to return. Ward had to be carted off the field after a Bills run play halfway through the first quarter.

— At the end of the first quarter, the Colts and Bills are scoreless. Indy is facing a 3rd and 5 from the Buffalo 27-yard line.
