The Colts make their first Make It Personal Tour stop in LafayetteLafayette – The Colts kicked off their Make It Personal tour in Lafayette on Monday. Over one thousand fans showed up to show their support for the Colts. The weather held out for most of the day, but rain did start to fall towards the end of the tour stop. However, that did not scare off the Colts fans and all the tour activities were able to remain up and running.
Some of the first fans in line were brothers, Dakota and Jackson. They were among the most excited to meet Colts players Kelvin Hayden and Kyle Shotwell. Not only were they excited about the players, but they were eager to meet Blue, the mascot. The brothers were able get Blue's autograph as well as take a photograph with him, something that they can keep forever.
According to Jackson, his favorite Colts are Blue followed by Peyton Manning. Dakota agrees with brother Jackson, but his favorite Colt is Marvin Harrison.
Not only were there autographs for the fans, there were numerous activities going on at the tour stop. Fans had the opportunity to register to win Colts pre-season tickets, participate in the Colts Quarterback Challenge, and take a walking tour of the Colts In Motion traveling museum.
Fans also had the opportunity to participate in the Bleed Blue Blood Drive hosted by the Indiana Blood Center. The Indiana Blood Center provided blue sno-cones to fans of all ages.
You can follow the Colts on the next Make It Personal tour stop in Rushville on Tuesday, May 20, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the fire station.
