Adams, 6-1, 189 pounds, was signed by the Colts to a reserve/future contract on February 2, 2018. He spent time on the Minnesota Vikings' active roster and practice squad as a rookie in 2017 but did not see game action. Adams spent Weeks 1-8 on the active roster before being waived on October 30. He was signed to the team's practice squad on November 1, where he spent the remainder of the regular season and postseason.
