INDIANAPOLIS —The Indianapolis Colts have signed Jason Michael as tight ends coach and Chris Strausser as offensive line coach.
Michael has 16 years of coaching experience, including 13 seasons in the NFL. He served as the tight ends coach for the Arizona Cardinals in 2018 after four seasons (2014-17) on the Tennessee Titans' coaching staff. Michael also spent time with the San Diego Chargers (2011-13), San Francisco 49ers (2009-2010), New York Jets (2006-07) and Oakland Raiders (2005). At the collegiate level, he had two stints at the University of Tennessee (2003-04, 2008).
Strausser has 30 years of coaching experience. He spent the last two seasons with the Denver Broncos and served as the offensive line-tackles coach (2018) and assistant offensive line coach (2017). Prior to the NFL, Strausser had 28 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level at the University of Washington (2014-16), Boise State (2001-05, 2007-2013), Colorado (2006), Portland State (1993-94, 2000), Foothill College (1997-99), San Jose State (1995-96), Sonoma State (1992), Oregon State (1990-91) and Menlo College (1989).
