The pairings for the 52nd annual IHSAA state football tournament will be unveiled on Sunday, October 13 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. EDT on IHSAAtv.org. Once all the pairings have been announced, they will be available for viewing on IHSAA.org

According to the school's website. Christel House Manual has cancelled it remaining regular season contests with Purdue Poly Englewood, and Indianapolis Tech. The Eagles (0-3) have not played since September 6 and it is uncertain if they will participate in the state tournament which gets underway on October 25.

Angola's Andy Thomas earned his 150th career win with the Hornets' 67-13 decision over Owen Valley.

Ryan Knigga is now Lawrenceburg's all-time leader in wins with the Tigers' 24-0 blanking of Batesville. He now has 125 victories, surpassing Glenn Crocker, who registered 124 wins from 1982 to 1998.

South Bend Adams ended its 14-game losing streak with a 49-20 win over South Bend Washington.

In Brebeuf Jesuit's 83-65 win over Terre Haute South, the two clubs combined for more than 1,500 yards of total offense. They were also two of 39 teams which registered 50 or more points, while 26 squads were held scoreless last week.
