FINAL SCORE

New Orleans 62, Colts 7

FOURTH QUARTER UPDATE

New Orleans added two scores in the fourth quarter to top the Colts, 62-7.

THIRD QUARTER UPDATE

New Orleans had scoring drives of 10 and 11 plays and held the ball for more than 11:00 of the quarter to lead, 48-7.

SECOND QUARTER UPDATE

New Orleans added a 47-yard field goal on the final play of the half to take a 34-7 lead.

Rookie running back Delone Carter scored the first Indianapolis points on a two-yard run with 1:56 left in the half.  He had three carries for 48 yards on the 80-yard drive, including a 42-yard burst, a career-long.  With the score, Carter had 76 yards on six rushes.  Carter's score made it 31-7, New Orleans.

FIRST QUARTER UPDATE

Colts suffered turnovers on two of their first three possessions.  New Orleans converted three possessions into touchdowns.

Indianapolis won the coin toss and received.
